Thank you sweet girl❤ Your right they were absolutely horrible in the eighties..."Lee Press on Nails" haha...lucky to get ONE wedding invitation out of them!! Haha Random Thought: Love your eyebrows!! 🥰 Perfectly Groomed! Sadly, as I pointed out earlier I grew up in the eighties....we plucked all ours out!! 😭 haha What we do for Beauty!!!!
I've been having acrylic nails put on since 2001 and during the pandemic, I found these Kiss Impress nails. I look back and can't believe how much money I spent on my nails all of those years! I do mine exactly like you say and wear one box of nails for several weeks. The only problem I have is getting tired of the same color. Great video!
Your tip on not cutting the original nail short works like a charm! I grew my nails out then applied the press ons and it stayed on for over two weeks. It probably would have stayed longer but I was bored and decided to peel them off myself. Thanks for the great tip!
Thankyou I’ve tried them before and they last pretty good while starting to use them , I went to get my mani with gel it came out to 50 dollars for just for mani no Thankyou so I got this now love short nails 💕
I wish someone would share their sizes in one of these tutorials! I know it’s gonna be different for everyone but personally I think it would help as a starting point at least. Oh and another tip per the instructions ; Start with the pinky, alternating hands and work your way over to do the thumbs last. It really does make it easier!
Girl yes. I have sets and usually use Dashing Dova semi cure. I am worried abt these popping off onto patients 😂. I bought some nail glue for extra support. I’m trying my Kiss impress gingerbread ones today.
Haha yes I am a mum and a gardener so I def can't handle having my nails done at all I bought a pack of these but the coffin option to wear to a banquet tonight for my husband's union so I don't have to spend a fortune and deal with acrylics stuck on forever...i usually keep my nails trimmed and clean as I can for cleaning and gardening! Thank you for the tips 😊
These nails are really cute, in fact I have on kiss press on nails now. These are great tips, but in reality, don’t expect this kind to last longer than a week. They aren’t meant to last longer than that anyway. Still a great product and vid and I love the kiss brand.
Oh my gosh you are wonderful thank you so much for doing this so I'm 42 I felt just like you i was like i had those when i was a kid and even in my early teens and those m************ would fly off if the wind blew the wrong way lol so what's funny is I'm like the cobbler's kid i run a nail salon and nobody ever has time to do my nails and i have a funeral to go to so I'm on my way to go pick up some press on nails lol.
My nails are in bad shape right now. They are breaking and splitting. Is it still worth my while to use the Kiss nails I just purchased even though my natural nils are a little hart right now
Red aspen doesn't deliver in Canada. So I ordered some from Amazon. Press on nails. Yes I would love to know how to make them last longer then 2 hrs lol
I just tried my first set and had to pry them off at three weeks. I can totally see them lasting another week. I purchased 5 more colors. Why did i not find these years ago.? So much Money and time at salons..
Oh they last better than with glue. I've tried both with the same great prep. Glue ones lasted for maybe 1-2 weeks but when I had nails with those stickers they lasted for over a month and would have lasted even longer if I didn't have to take them off!!! They were on for real
Glue didn't last me a week good (use my hands alot doing housework) the press ons started to fall of. Came back to the video to pay closer to whatever it is she used... what is the name of it by the way?
Can someone help me? I’m about to put on some French tip press ons, but since they angle in as they get longer, you can see some of my nail. Anyway to fix this? air sort of bugs me lol.
Ok so I may have just missed it in the video like a ding dong but what did you do differently than normal to make them last longer than the advertised 7 days listed on the package? I'm fixing to apply mine and I think I follow all of these steps but mine still seem to fall off or break before 2 or 3 weeks. Thanks lady!
Hey Amanda, the things that make a difference for me is not using the alcohol wipe they provide and using a lot of my own, ensuring my own nails are the same length as the press-on and making sure I never submerge my nails in water (i.e. baths, dishes, etc...). However, I know some people just have nail shapes that don't work well with the press-ons. I hope this helps :)
Tabs that come on the press on never ever work for me. They just don't stick secure. I've tried applying a thin layer of brush on nail glue before applying the tabs, that does not work. I just peel off the tabs and use nail glue. They last 3 weeks this way
It doesn’t ruin your natural nail if you remove them properly. You can either soak in hot water and soap, then gently work them with the stick included or you can soak in acetone.
This are awesome love it🙂 also notice you have a rubber silicone band on I also have one due to this awful pandemic I don’t wear my actual wedding ring due to all sanitizer!😭
I used the peel and stick they lasted 2 hours. I have tried the glue on used 3 different types of glue they start popping off within 4 hours, have not had my hands in dish water, have not used any cleaning supplies etc, I am about to try super glue or just give up I use the short length.
What is the size of these nails? I want to try but not sure how to select the right size for my nails as i never used this method. Thanks for a great video!
I brought impress nails before but throw them away because they didn’t even last two minutes being on fingernails before they starting coming off so iam buying some nail glue and glueing that way I know they will stay because the glue they put on them isn’t enough glue to make them last especially three to four weeks 😮😊
I’m having my nails lift from my natural nail plate after changing very long polygel or acrylic every week for a few months. I need to give my nails a break. Maybe wearing the shorties like these for awhile will let them rest and not break my natural nail down any further.
The thing about my nails is that they are naturally extremely weak. I’ll try the tip on growing the natural nail out but it’s hard for me to do that, that’s why I like the longer press on nails because I get to have the long nails I’ve always wanted with pretty designs.
i wouldn't recommend this, tips are shaped a certain way and do not extend to the nail bed. if you have access to buy acrylic powder, just buy tips as well. why complicate the matter?
My natural nails are short and I never get a size other rhan short or at longest, medium. I recently loved a color that was going to match my outfit, but it was only available in the coffin shape and long. It lasted almost 4 weeks with no added glue! Perhaps you're right that I'd have an even better experience if they were longer, but I've gotten at least the 3 weeks without matching the lengths.
I just tried these myself and am impressed!!! BTW, the directions said to put on the thumbs last. I noticed you didn’t do that. I guess it doesn’t matter?
It has to do with using your thumb to help apply the nails. If you apply the thumb first and continuously use it to apply the other nails, it doesn't have time to stay correctly always being messed with. It says not to use water for an hour post application, but I try not to do too much period for that time. It might be better to apply them before bed to allowing curing.
I had those ones! But the stickies on the u see side of the nail caught everything I touched 😭😭. They just started getting gunked and I took them off. My fav ones in that set were the marble and sparkle ones. The marbled ones were super soft and started to bend. The sparkle ones were a bit stronger and held up. I wish the stickies weren’t as far up so I could wear them more comfortably 🥲
Your nails look great. I've never tried the one with stickers I've only had the ones with glue and i always end up making a mess. I was wondering if they ripped or pulled on your hair when you would pass your fingers in your hair?
Doesn’t seem to matter. Once they are pressed down firmly they are fine to file. The impress nails file very easily so you can change the shape of them too. I think this helps make them look more natural
I have strong nails so usually I just peel them off using the orange stick they give you in the packaging and my nails are just fine but it can be different for everybody.
