Finally!! I have the same type of skin as you and I have to search for concealers that won't separate and crease under my eyes 😭 thank you for the reviews!! Can't wait to see more from you!!
omg yea the tower 28 concealer felt so nice but the shades sucked SO BAD. like the undertones and depths...nothing matched me either and i wanted to love it so badly :/ i was like the depth of the shade 7.0 k-town but the undertones were all like too yellow-neutral for my like peachy-warm skintone so which concealer is ur all time fave for daily use on acne marks! one that lasts, but provides coverage for the no foundation days
The STRUGGLE. My go to favorite for acne scars is the hourglass concealer. But truthfully I’m still on a journey to find a similar formula with a better shade match. (I might need to try a different hourglass shade) No luck yet. 😩
You’re the first person I know to say the Natasha concealer enhances your lines and dryness. I was just going to buy it for a wedding I’m in because I thought it would cover my big pimple well. Do you think it covers pimples well? I feel like the Nars creamy concealer just makes my pimple dry and it doesn’t cover it. The redness still pops out.
The Natasha Denona concealer has the same effect as the Nars creamy concealer for me. Honestly I’ve realized it’s better not to add too much concealer over larger zits bc it ends up more noticeable. But if you still want to, try using a blend brush to lightly cover your concealer in layers. I also love to use the Makeup Forever powder foundation as a “spot concealer” bc it seems to blur better than liquid concealers.
For spot concealing I like using Nars Soft Matte with a flat brush (to pack on a lot of product) and then tap it away, I also like the Lancome All over concealer for that, it's also a natural matte finish. Great video! Def will check out a couple of these. Ty❤
ND concealer only needs a little for under yes and I let it set before blending. Like you, can't use it for my face. I prefer the NARS pot concealers for my face :) I find myself having to use different concealer for my face and eyes 😭 Love how detailed you are with your review!
I'm 47 and Tower 28 was awful under my eyes. Kulfi was outstanding for me, the serum like texture works perfect for my older skin. (I don't have acne, so that's not my primary use) I will give the Haus Labs one a try!
I like ND hyglam under the eyes; I apply it in thin layers with a flat brush, picking up product from the back of my hand; but my go to concealers under the eyes are Tower 28 or Dior (though the Dior is not 10 out of ten). On my face Hyglam looks pretty textured. Maybe ill find a way to make it work eventually. When im going to be sweating a lot, i always use IT cosmetics bye bye under eye under the eyes though, its a goopy texture so I apply it with my fingers. Civerage is outstanding, and it doesnt get super messed up when im sweating or crying u like my other concealers.
So good 😊 love the style of the video. I haven’t tried any of the new concealers lol, have been interested due to all the hype tho. I have acne and scaring I’m super old school and have repurchases the tarte shape tape so many times. I use that as foundation. And then I love the Nyx bare w/ me concealer just wish it had a doe foot applicator
No shame in sticking with what you know, Tarte is so versatile! If you were to try a new one, I bet you’ll like Tower 28 (it’s a mix of the tarte and NYX). ☺️
Yea i feel the same with natasha denona too. It is so dry for me these days 😢 i really loved this when i first purchased this. I wear this over winter here in australia. It looked so good on my skin. But rn season changed and it is spring here now and it is so dryyy on my skin. 😭 i am looking for new concealer now
I have just used the Natasha Denona hy glam and loved that one, it is one of my favourite concealers. I plan on maybe trying Haus labs next, as I like full coverage. I saw from a lot of reviews that the Kosas concealer expires and goes off really quickly, which puts me off that one
@@ellerchu I do a lot of skincare beforehand, so I think skin prep is important. I do korean skincare and use eye cream and sunscreen, wait a bit for it to set before applying concealer
A long time ago I bought the shade Cookie Dough and found it was too pale on me. I would guess a better shade would have been Granola. But I’m not entirely sure, so don’t trust me fully on this. 😆
