I'm a culinary student, and I work in a restaurant. It NEVER hurts to know how to cook. But it isn't the cooking she's lucky about. It's if he cleans, too! And he's lucky if she helps. Dedicating your cooking to someone you love makes it so much better
I just made my little lady a special breakfast of pancakes with a home made blueberry compote. She just came out of the hospital so she wanted food she could actually taste. It was nice and she was happy. The compote cost about $2 to make.
@@caglioso No it's because whipped topping isn't cream. "Cream" I believe legally requires to have a certain amount of milk fat. Whipped topping I'm assuming uses gelatin as a binder. Whipped cream wouldn't actually hold its shape as much as whipped topping does. It would deflate, and probably reliquify, in the container. There's also "On-Top brand whipped topping made with cream" (Notice the distinction) which a lot of professional places uses, and I believe they use coconut fat as a stabilizer.
If you was to try made this at home it would be more than $12... the way they price the ingredients I know is the common way to do it but doesn’t transfer at all to real life. You can got to the shop and only buy a certain amount of one thing!
The ingredients in their full quantiies would cost more, yes...but you're not using those full quantities in this dish, so you price out the ingredient based on how much I use. I might buy a $8 slab of cheese and only use $2 of it; that leaves $6 for other meals. You don't count that $6 used for the other meals toward this dish.
WOW it looks absolutely delicious! Thank you for always sharing great recipes that are easy to follow and delicious. You have inspired me to start my own channel. Have a great day🌷
Hi, viewer from Italy here. Just want to reassure you, cause you said “pappardelle” right. Dont worry ☺️❤️ Besides, we dont need that kinda negativity in our lives, so say “pappardelle” as you like, as long as you keep cooking and enjoy cooking 🥰 happy 2021 yall
Where can I buy .95 cents of eggs, .79 cents of whipped topping or a 1.22 worth of flour. Can Tasty do one of these budget cooking videos but actually stick to the budget
Don't you guys have places that sells small quantity retail products? Like a small store that repackages products they bought in bulk into smaller and cheaper portions for those that only needs a small amount of this or that for one time use?
I’m confused, did he say the hand made pasta is more expensive than the ready one in the grocery store, and that he is going to make hand made pasta to save money? I’m confused 😐😕😟
I think Artie Bucco would be offended at your pronunciation of pappardelle, Matt. 🤣 (Yes, Artie did a classic Northern Italian duck ragu' over pappardelle in a Sopranos episode). However, you are not even in the ballpark of "cannoli inspired." Since "cannoli" means "little tube" in Italian, you would have been in the ball park if you rolled each individual crepe into a tube and filled it. As far as the filling, not only is cannoli ingredient ricotta missing, there is no sign of chocolate chips or dried citron to be found. C'mon, you're Italian American. Do the leg work. I like the meals on a budget piece. Will you do $6 meals for a "cheap date?" 😅
👍Tasty 👌 .. Tasty .. you are there best .. I liked also a channel called Kitchenetic .. the chef seems to be a teen .. but her recipes and efforts are great ..
