I just started using Makeup Geek shadows and I really like them. I ordered from their site so I could customize my own palette. Jen Phelps did a video today where she ordered the exact same quad you did plus one other one from Target and both of them arrived a total mess. The shimmer shades were destroyed and coated everything in her order. Target really needs to work on their order packaging.
@@DrugstoreMaven I saw Jen Phelps's video as well and have had this same problem in the past with Target. They're good about replacing at no cost but the foiled formula seems more fragile and it's still a roll of the dice with Target's shipping. If you can exchange in-store, even better! MUG itself packs very well and I have had no issue.
I highly recommend my favorite cream blush,Honest Beauty cream blush in the shade Plum Berry, it looks super dark in the pan, but sheered out it is so so beautiful and looks like a natural sunburn/flush. I also recommend the L.A girl velvet blush sticks. For eyeshadows: colourpop supershock shadows in sailor, I heart this, a little quirky, and frog. I also just came across the prettiest loose pigments from this indie mineral brand called micabeauty cosmetics, they are only 10 bucks and are made with only mica. I got the colors java(bronze/green duo chrome), and deep secrets(bronze)..and my last eyeshadow is Maybelline color tattoo in High roller(close to my ultimate old favorite, Bad to the Bronze(a little more cool toned)..discontinued, but you can still find this one on amazon). All one and done colors! Foundation: n07 lift and luminate foundation and their foundation drops are tha bomb! I am going to have to try the beautifully matte foundation! Highlighter: wet and wild coloricon bronzer in reserve your cabana(natural like hourglass powders) Lips: ulta beauty, tinted juice infused lip oil in the color, power pink( cool tone purple/pink) Yes, I have makeup addiction and I need to stop..my list can go on and on...🤣😂🙃

Covergirl blushes are way underrated. Especially the instant cheekbones blushes. They have 2 blush shades and a cooridinating highlighter. Theyre beautiful.

This final look is fierce!! You always look nice in purple. I bought the Salt-N-Pepa collection and I love that liner too. It's so interesting how different it looks on different skin tones. It's definitely a good one. That blush completely surprised me! Wow!
I been eyeing the Cover Girl blush in a big round case similar to the Milani roses. I did get the blush that comes with highliter/contour and they are beautiful! The pink/peachy shade is beautiful and was afraid of the mauve being too dark but applied softly it is not is beautiful too. Also have a few of the mini blushes to try the different colors. They are good! I only keep seeing in my nearby Target (too near for this makeup addict 😂) was doing well during serious lockdown but I’m back like a hurricane! Another favorite the Colourpop super shocks! Love them all! Lol! Oh, lastly got the romantic eyeshadows set from Revolution very pretty shades!
This is a great idea. I have never tried that foundation before will have to check it out in the fall. So strange but you are the second person to have a broken quad from target and makeup geek shadow. Jen Phelps also had two quads come broken. That sucks. It is so pretty too. Gosh!!! Love the eye look.
Have you ever tried the Loreal Magic BB Cream??? I never hear anyone talk about it and it's AMAZING!!! You would want to get the fair shade as the light is definitely darker. I use it under my Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation and the combo is FLAWLESS! :)
@@steffid_ absolutely! It's so amazing- everyone needs to be able to try it! The fair is almost too dark for me, usually. I have a decent tan, so I'm using the light. Using the Fit Me foundation over it is really nice for evening it out, though!

The CG blush in Soft Mink is what I use when I want a quick makeup look. I get color, definition, and highlight all in one product! (I apply it like I used to apply blush back in the 1980s - lower down at an angle that arcs around my eyes. It seems to work well when I am in a hurry!) I also love the Nyx Worth The Hype mascara because I don't like clumps, and I like the drier formula: it builds up beautifully. It also comes in brown, blue and purple shades. Aww I missed this! I would have had you try elf tone correcting powder in cool. Not many people seem to like it, the colors are not meant to be used individually! Swirled all together it turns into an almost translucent powder that somehow does even out skin tone when worn alone and also makes a great setting or touch up powder. I bought it years ago recommend by Olivia "LivLovesHerMakeup" (she's not on RU-vid anymore ☹️) I haven't tried any other pressed powder since bc I love it so much!

Speaking of watery eyes...any recommendations for oily eyelids? For whatever reason my right eyelid’s eyeshadow often gets ruined, but never my left. I use eyeshadow primer and set it. I’ve tried using concealer. I’ve tried not setting whatever base I use. It’s so frustrating! My eyes also water super easily, so my concealer gets ruined at times too. Any tips and tricks would be so greatly appreciated!💜
O man sounds like my issues! My eyes are always watering and my concealer,eyeshadows, mascara, and eyeliner come off..i recommend a good cream eyeshadow stick or maybeline color tattoo eyeshadows, I like high roller and bad to the bronze(its discounted but you can find it on amazon, it's more of a cool toned bronze), both are similar. If you like powder shadows, I recommend using them on top of nyx glitter primer(don't set the primer).For the concealer problem, recently I've tried moisturizer, light setting powder, then concealer, then you can lightly set again if you want...seems to be working for me! I also wanted to try mixing eyeshadow primer/concealer..this is a new recommendation from Dacey Cash
Interesting! I bought the neutrogena hydro boost to try for my undereyes and every time I used it I found it clung to dryer patches and was always so obvious when I wore it.
Your under eye area might be dry. Try extra moisturizer or even a drop of facial oil mixed with moisturizer. It will smooth the skin and improve texture. Try with and without setting powder. Not everyone needs powder. Mix it up and see what will work. Good luck.
Could you let us know if that blush is shimmer all the way through or if it’s just the top layer. Just Curious. It was beautiful. But for the price I am just going to have to try it. Or if anyone else has tried it.

I got mine in the nude shade keep it spicy and for me it’s the PERFECT shade and formula. I’ve used it every day since buying it last month and already bought 2 more for back ups. It’s THAT good.
