Good info. I’ve seen other RU-vidrs say months of Zone 2 training hurt their running performance. Glad you got some good results.

Good on you to actually get some proper testing done. People just don't know that Zone 2 is not a fixed range.

Shervin, thank‘s for your Videos! I have a question, with how much % of your Max HRF did you train to stain in zone 2? Thank you ! Keep going I love your content😊

Man, I wish i could run 9:00/mi @142 bpm heart rate. I don't know what's wrong with me. I hit 150 bpm @ 12:00/mi pace even though I'm 170 lbs and have a resting heart rate of 43 bpm.

it's just practice my dude. Lots and lots of running over a long period of time.

You got to believe the process and slow down. Believe me that it feels like you are speedwalking in the beginning 😅

Try using a chest strap for measuring your heart rate. Wrist-based HR sensors can be unreliable.

Runners are typically thin and light at some point... If you are big even from muscle it can be hard on your knees. Try fast walking with arm movements ( like shadow boxing, and speed bag) to for heart rate. The transition of your feet is much smoother. You can use this just to let your knees rest.

Shervin, during these runs, in case you see your HR going towards Zone 3, do you intentionally slow down/ start walking?

Good job. Now work on eliminating your unbearable upspeak habit.
