Brownell trailer mounted boat lift kit is well suited for projects like bottom painting a boat on the trailer, or lifting up a boat while on the trailer to clean the bottom or work on a bunk or a roller all while the boat is loaded on the trailer. In this video I get to try out a trailer mounted boat jacking system to see how it works to raise my boat off the trailer. I used it to jack up my boat to reset my bunk while the boat is on the trailer which had flopped over when I was trying to load my boat on the trailer.

Hello again Wayne, I must say that is a cool tool to lift the boat up to paint the area. One of the reason why I won’t invest in a trailer is just that, to must hassle in spring to get bottom painted. Never saw this tool ever until you presented it. On another note that is a cool old Evinrude hat you have there. I was very surprised at the demise of Evinrude Motor Co. A shame after all these years. Be safe, be well,

Wow, I've never seen that before. I don't know if it is available in France/Europe. That seems very handy every time you have to paint the bottom of the boat or even just clean it. Thank you for sharing.

just built my own for $40 each 1/4 square tube 3/4 thresded rod 1/4 plate for brackets 1. 3/4 rod connector 1 - 1 inch piece of black pipe 1 - L 1/4 bam works like a champ

I have them and every two years I lift 22 regal to clean the bottom. I purchased rubber mud flaps and put the under the orange wood just as a added cushion. You must make sure you have the clearance from the frame to the boat. What you do is cycle each of the four two turns one at a time so the whole boat lifts uniformly at the same rate. It does take time to bolt four on and then off when. I would buy it again well worth the money just make sure you have the clearance frame to boat

Hi yes that’s very important the clearance I just have a 5 inch clearance would that be enough do you know what the clearances on that ?

I think they're only sold as a set of 4 - I don't think you can buy just 1 or two.

Good question! The instructions don't have a weight limit. It seems super strong though, and although I didn't use it as intended (by using only one) It seemed far more stable than the bottle jack and car jack system I was considering using!

@@WayneTheBoatGuy Each jack is rated for 2500 pounds. When using all four jacks, the combined lifting power can raise a 10,000 pound boat. I use this product in my bottom painting business.
