@@minori7126 You are doing well for a beginner. I have been crocheting consistently for about 18 years. and my first project was a baby blanket that ended up very uneven. A hint for when you are crocheting to meet a gauge if you crochet tightly go up a hook size to meet the gauge and if you crochet loosely go down a hook size.

@@minori7126Definitely give a break for your hands. I work with 3 ply which is fairly small, and isn’t as soft as 8 or 10 ply yarn, so I actually get yarn burn on both index fingers and it hurts so bad! It’s also very good to give your wrists, back, neck and your eyes a break. For your eyes do the 20-20 method; after 20 minutes of crocheting, look up and around and at things in the distance for 20 seconds otherwise you can develop some pretty bad problems with your eyes.

I am so sorry to hear that your dad has passed away. But I am sure he’s living in heaven now 😢

at first it was really difficult for me, but trust me after a week you’ll be able to make so many things!!

RU-vid is a great resource for how to crochet and also some great projects.

Is it easy to pick up! Tutorial videos are the best. Look for tutorials that are slow paced. Good luck

you should definitely try it! It's difficult at first, but if you really focus and practice, you will definitely get the hang of it! It gets easier once you know the basic stitches :D!!
