I wasn't trying to cheat the Pronation lift, I actually wanted to use a Mazurenko strap but that was way too far from parallel. The blue strap wasn't perfect but I used what I had. The angle of the elbow doesn't matter so much in this lift anyway as it's the wrist that will fail first, not the elbow. Besides he beat me pretty good at that lift anyway.😅 But noone has anything to say about that Press??💪💪😆
Both were strong lifts regardless but better form will be better for you to apply on the table. The press form wasn’t something you can do in a match. Devon’s press was all arm/shoulder and his elbow would be staying on the pad. And the angle matters for your wrist as much as for your bicep. With a parallel forearm, the weight is pulling in a straight line against your pronation. The higher your hand is above 90*, the less that force is acting strictly on your pronation. They’re good lifts. They just weren’t equal form.
No denying you are pretty strong but next time try it with your forearm parallel to the floor and your wrist at a neutral position. Your pr in that position is sure to be lower without breaking the form of the lift

that was 50kg on the pronator lift, impressive its a hard lift with the strap in that position, try after a table session, i can only do 40kg so far but cant move it after table time
Watch Devons video again. Work on your form, then try the lifts again. Everything you did was wrong. Devons is a precise controlled movement. Keep working but dont cheat yourself because thats what you did
