Gotta love Poof's never-ending tendency to completely ignore controls, set the difficulty of the CPU's to the highest one, then complain about how the game isn't fair and his teammates suck and the opponents are overpowered. The Poof we all know and love.
I find it funny that this man yells at virtual characters as if they have a mind of their own, imagine people next door hear him yelling out their names and talk about how badly they play
This game was literally my childhood growing up. I played this and Mario Super Sluggers on the wii almost everyday. Thanks for helping me relive my childhood 😃
@@marinapresents06 I’m 17 🤣 It’s funny how I just stumble upon games I played growing up then playing them again and realizing how bad the graphics were on some of them 😂
I absolutely LOVED this game as a little kid, I got all the things to gold and I just had a really good time. I had no idea who the boss was at the end of the tournament though and I thought it was really weird
Toad and Wario: *Tries their best to score and steal the ball with the miis are making it difficult.* Beef boss, standing at half court and watching his team: Why are my teammates so bad and why are they not doing anything!?!?
Well as we all know the fact that he's struggling to score has nothing to do with his lack of practice and experience with the game or the fact that the CPU's are literally on the hardest difficulty or anything like that, it's obviously because his teammates are always trash and the game is rigged. Duh!
I'll just leave this here in case you come back to try and beat expert mode, because it really isn't that hard. - Passing the ball to a teammate while pressing B automatically switches your control to that teammate. This way, you can decide where you teammate needs to go, rather than letting it be decided by the CPU's. - Jump passing is absolutely crucial. By jumping and passing, you can ensure that the ball won't be intercepted while you pass, which in most scenario's is huge. - Pressing A while you have both an item and the ball is for most of the items a guaranteed three-pointer. The reason why your mini-mushroom shot didn't work is because that is one of the items that just doesn't go in. The green shell, banana peel, red shell, star shots and depending on where you're standing, the Bob-omb will all automatically go in unless blocked. - The special move of your mii works as follows: Whenever someone tries to stop your special move, shake the wii mote as violently as possible, just like you're battling to keep the ball out of the filthy, grimey opponents paws. A nice trick for this is to start shaking before someone even blocks it, ensuring you get the full thingy. - The reason why it feels like your teammates are useless, is because the AI of your teammates are severely lower than your opponents. This isn't a huge deal, since if you get used to passing and switching between players, you can overcome this issue, but waiting for them to do anything is obviously not going to work when they're getting defended by CPU's of way high skill level. I think that's everything answered for this video. If you have somehow come across my comment and decided to read it, feel free to ask me anything else. I'm quite the veteran at this game if I do say so myself.
This is the one game I’m actually wanting to backseat game for because like every basketball game, there’s a telltale sign of when to shoot, and he doesn’t know.
Hey poof one day you should beat the tournaments for each sport Each sport has 3 cups and after you beat 1 sport you get a gem if you get all 4 gems there's a special boss you beat just thought I should let you know keep up the great work
"That was going to be a three-pointer but Wario made it two." No. No it wouldn't have been. Threes almost never make it in unless you get the rainbow trail from timing it "perfectly." It would be nice to see Poof actually know the game and play well sometimes but this is nice too.
Mario sports mix was and still is my all time favorite game. Literally the most fun game to just spend a day on and enjoy yourself. I love that one of my favorite RU-vidrs is playing it too!
I played this game ALOT when I was younger, And I have some tips for you if u ever think of trying again: 1. When they go for a dunk and you block by spinning they can do a move to dodge that spinning and perform a lay-up. To defend that you must jump and slap them in the air, it could be difficult to guess whether they will perform the lay-up or not, I could never guess that as well. 2. Teammates suck... for some reason the AI teammates given by Nintendo don't perform as well as you would think/hope they would on higher difficulties... 3. When you go for a throw, you could if you want, pass the ball mid-air to one of your teammates. 4. If you hold 1 when you or your teammates have the ball, you will all go for a combo-dunk. Do this, and the chances of scoring are much higher cuz you could fake the opponents, by passing it mid-air to a teammate so they dunk! Opponents use combo's alot as well! I scored alot of points just from performing combo's. It's really usefull! 5. Special shots are performed while pressing 1 and 2 at the same time... 6. Perhaps one of the biggest tips: When you have an item you could perform a itemthrow (which you already know XD). Some items go directly in the hoop from every distance, it has nothing to do with luck or opponents being better. The green shell, red shell and banana go directly in the hoop from every distance. The mini mushrooms doesn't go directly, it bounces a few times and maybe with some really good luck it goes in, but I, I think never saw that happen. The bomb Item can as well be used as item throw, but it goes a limited distance, it goes about the same distance as the line from the 3 pointer border. The star item is of course the best. That item of course makes you invincible and goes in every time. Soooo, there ya go Poof! Hope it helps!
I have beaten you at a game of Wii Coconut Mall on Mario Kart Tour. My name is LGTV. But it is awesome to see you as a RU-vidr and a Mario gamer. It is awesome in my home in Blackburn on England.
Ey Poof I feel you about your AI players defense, which reminds me of my cousins when one of them played on my team just too suck ass on defense and not knowing who to guard.
One important thing to take from this game: If you learn Spinjitsu it can really pay off in basketball, because if an opponent tries to go for a dunk, you can jump up and slap them relentlessly.
Quite a funny coincidence that I watched his 1st video on Mario Sports Mix Basketball earlier on for the 1st time, then I get this new vid in my notifications. 🤭
Poof, item jumpshots are an automatic make, except for the small percent chance it’ll jump around inside the rim, like that one time you shot it with the mini shroom
