Had an 07 Sierra 4.8 cut the muffler off ,then a 05 Sierra lly(deleted it),then a 15 Silverado 5.3(ran long tubes and a cat less y pipe and a custom tune , then a 16 Denali lml(deleted it), now a 17 Denali 6.2 stock as of now but got some plans. Absolutely love all your videos. Keep up the great work

I have a 2011 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3L. I just installed the Diablo itune3 and I can tell a little but not +50hp. I did turn off the AFM. Hated that feature. Love the channel and all the trucks. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

It is not 50hp, or anything close to that on a 5.3, and handheld tune. You would be lucky to get 20 with a 91 tune.

Nice truck 👍 Definitely wouldn't mind a Duramax considered buying one years back, but went with a super clean low mileage 8.1 gas with the Allison wouldn't go back been a great truck. Ended up buying another 8.1 / Allison combo but really don't need both thinking of selling one of them with things being what they are these days.

I drive a 2010 F150 5.4L. Love the truck!! I keep thinking I want a diesel one day, but then think about the added purchase cost, maintenance costs, repair cost and on and on, and realize a gasser makes more sense in the long run. Now if you pick me to win the giveaway, I’ll give it a chance to change my mind. It’s gonna be hard to do with a Chevy, but we’ll see. Lol!

Long time subscriber, I watch all your videos. I’ve never owned a diesel. Always owned Chevy gassers. Currently I have a 2017 5.3L that I’ve built up with a bunch of bolt on’s. This video was especially cool for me seeing you do some GM Gasser content! I would LOVE a 5.3L on the channel. Keep up the good work! 2018 Silverado with the 6.2. Love your videos, might have to get this tuner for my truck. One of the things I worry about with mine is the AFM. Good to know you can shut that off with this tuner.

I have a 2011 Silverado 5.3 with AFM and DoD. 230k+ miles and still going strong. Never been inside the engine. Use quality gasoline and oil, and do your maintenance on schedule. I also add half a can of SeaFoam to my oil about 100 miles before I change it, and add a full can to the fuel tank at the same time. Seems to work for me.

Ummm, I want that truck! 👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 I had an ‘04 Chevy HD that I put a tuner on. For me, the biggest advantage was being able to change my shift points, being able to hold 65 going up these mountain passes in Idaho while pulling a trailer.

I have a 2018 5.3L Silverado. I had a 04 Duramax from new couldn’t keep it running. Right at 100K miles had to do the injectors, $5k, EGR pump, and a leaky fuel filter housing. Never had issues with my gas engine trucks. None

@truckmaster I have a 1999 gmc z71 5.3 and I love it I got the truck for 1200 bucks and she was locked up and I replaced the motor and she gets nasty lol idk if the computer was ever tuned or not because the truck wouldn't alow me to use the pcm that came with the motor but I am overall happy with the truck

Josh I love the setup but 91 octane.....saving him on fuel....😂👍 knock it down to a 87 octane and data log for him then adjust the AFR parameters and it will be better than that 91 preprogrammed tune. Just my experience with the tuners on gas motors anyway.

I have a question on my LBZ duramax. I’ve had a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500hd it has 261000 miles and it never used to roll a lot of coal and was very minimal on smoke and about last week I started to notice it rolls more smoke than normal and leave quite the bigger cloud of smoke. So I was wondering if there are any problems that lead to more smoke and should I be concerned and what could I do to fix it if there is a problem.

I talked myself into trading out of my 2011 GMC 1 Ton SRW and into a new 2019 GMC 1/2 Ton. I hated the gasser since the day I bought it. There was nothing wrong with it, I guess, but after years of driving diesels I was ruined. It just felt small and weak. Two years later I traded it for a used 2017 GMC 3/4 Ton that looks like my old truck's little brother. It's older than the 1/2 ton, has 100,000 more miles and more tech than I like but I'm happy again. I used a Range Technologies unit to prevent the 1/2 Ton from going into V4, first thing I did. They're just $200 and plug into the OBD-II, idiot-proof...I need Ranger proof.
