CPAP machines are great for this. They are whisper quiet and designed to run for hours.

It's the small furniture kind. I have this old project of turning it into a melodica/harmonium thing by removing the indeed annoying motor and replacing it with a pedal contraption or something with balloons, or else. I haven't got the courage to put myself to it yet. Depending on the solution I use it might be called a velodica. :) 5. there's no number 4. 6. cheers!

Yeah, this video has value. Thanks for spending the time to put it together. Each device has a different timbre and each had a breath and reed like trait. Its really like a choir. The piano almost seemed like a percussion in comparison to the choir and was a good support for the music.

Hmm. A fan organ with a super quiet fan and a lithium battery wouldnt be a bad idea!

I have a full foot pump organ that someone converted to a fan organ. One of my winter projects is to try to get some recordings done with it.

I was wondering whether using a PC fan or a drone motor might be a nice quiet option for these kind of instruments.
