6:35 you captured one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite movies SO ACCURATELY WELL! How is this possible!?! This really makes me want a HTTYD Lego set
The amount of work put into this must of been a lot. This is amazing and probably one of my favorite RU-vid videos overall. It was very cool to see all my favorite movie characters become LEGO form.
@@bradsbrickpost I would love to see you soon begin trying to make the titular location from one of my favorite books-Animal Farm, in honor of the upcoming Gollum-directed CGI film
I’m thinking about characters for a future video 1.Jack Frost from rise of the guardians 2.Coraline from Coraline 3.Emily from Corpse bride 4.Mary poppies 5.Luca 6.Kat from Wendell and wild 7.Pinocchio from (1940) film 8.boo from monster inc
The Kill Bill figure would look a lot more accurate if you used the torso & legs from Avatar Harumi from Ninjago: Prime Empire - Gamers market. As that outfit is heavily inspired by the Bride from Kill Bill.
Funny enough, that figure for Logan is what I use for Billy Butcher from the Boys, with the addition of Nick Fury's coattails piece, to fit the trench coat
Amazing job with these! I also enjoy seeing the Lego minifigure pieces put together like this. For the Kill Bill one, I believe Ninjago had a character with a yellow outfit with the stripe down the legs that looked a lot like her.
Yeah, the minifigures for this video were really all over the place as far as movies go. So in that regard, it wasn't that organized. I basically just picked a ton of characters that I think look iconic or are from movies that I enjoy while also considering which ones I thought I could make adequately.
Just weird little old me but I'd love to see someone make Ryan Golsing in Lego from Drive or other characters from neo noir films or even classic noir crime films like Humphery Bogart Like I said tho just weird little old me
Yeah, One thing that I'm learning as I continue to make videos is trying to balance my personal interest with what I think an audience would like to see as well. It's definitely a balancing act of trying to do cool unique things while also trying to create videos that people will also click on.
a lot of the custom guns used for the figures in the video (for those of you who didn't know) aren't infact customs, they are from halo mega bloks or mega construx sets as well as a few call of duty sets
My favorite out of the lineup has to be Terminator. Not only is it very distinguishable to its movie counterpart but super creative and fun to look at. Cheers.
Amazing work! I might consider making some of those myself! My favorites were the Ben Gates, the Mummy one, Nathan Drake and The Man With No Name. Great hair choice for Nathan Drake, by the way
Thank you so much! I definitely see where some of them could. Thanks for watching. At some point, who knows, maybe we'll actually get some of these minifigures!
I tried really hard to make my own terminator mini figure, but never got it as good as yours. Hopefully someday they’ll release a more stern and less angry looking half robotic face.
Yeah, part of making this video was trying to pick characters that Lego will probably never release and then making them in the best way possible with the parts in my collection. So that's part of the fun of it but also the challenge.
@@bradsbrickpost, but I did end up making a very good looking Katniss Everdeen using Tory’s Farr/Clara Oswald’s face, a dark brown ponytail long French braided hair piece, the torso from the 2012 Hawkeye (switching out the nougat arms for black ones with nougat hands), the black legs from the 2015 diver mini figures, and lastly a black compound bow with black quiver. Although the look isn’t completely movie accurate, it really looks like the character, and is a very good approximation of one of her main outfits.
Excellently done! You did some very unique characters I have never seen anyone else do, and I enjoy that! If you were to do one with Cartoon characters, may I suggest a character from this show called.. Genndy Tartakovsky’s PRIMAL (or just Primal) it is an amazing animated show. Great animation, insane brutality, awesome sound design and soundtrack, and most notably, no dialog. The character you should make is named Spear
I've never seen that show, I will have to look into it! I love animated shows, but of course, the main issue is trying to translate animated styles into Lego Minifigures. I love the show gravity falls, and I've always wanted to try to build the minifigures, but I know they wouldn't end up looking as good as I would like them to. Lego themselves have even had issues with this with minifigures such as the Flintstones that in my opinion ended up looking pretty horrible. But with all that being said, I'll still look into the show and check it out. I am thinking about doing an episode for TV show characters, and I'm not against the idea of including animated characters that I think I can do well in that episode.
I loved them all! My only disagreement is Mr Incredible’s hair for John McClane. I’d go with Peter Venkman’s hair from Ghostbusters and I’d also give him Batman’s duel moulded barefeet legs to show John is shoeless.
Thanks for the suggestions! Yeah, I was thinking about a way to give him bare feet, but unfortunately I didn't have any legs like that to work with. That's a great idea though.
@@bradsbrickpost List of part 5 of lego goosebumps 1: the blob that ate everyone 2: how I got a shrunken head 3: werewolf of fever swamp 4: egg monsters from Mars 5: ghost Beach 6: attack of the graveyard ghouls
That's some really accurate minifigures, well done ! I discovered your channel few days ago and I don't stop being amazed ! I would die to see you create some of the DC minifigures Lego doesn't seem to bother creating, I've done some myself but would love to see it done by you ♥️
@@bradsbrickpost I made my own list indeed, feel free to choose from it :p For the heroes : booster gold, zatanna, dr fate, john constantine, etrigan, star sapphire, captain atom, power girl, red arrow, aqualad (comics version), wonder girl For the villains : king shark, solomon grundy, clayface, weather wizard, mirror master, heatwave, enchantress, atrocitus, metallo, doomsday, livewire, atomic skull, mongul, toyman, parasite, malcolm merlyn, doctor light, bloodsport
Yes! That is the plan. If this video continues to do well, in the future I will make a TV characters episode! Thanks so much for the kind words as well. Any suggestions for TV characters?
@@bradsbrickpost I would like to see you try and do some Walking Dead characters (one of my favourite shows) maybe some characters from Stranger Things, Breaking Bad and so on
These are all fantastic! One of the custom figures I’ve made that I’m pretty proud of is Arthur Morgan. He has Spider-Man Noir’s hat, CMF Aquamans face, Aldridge Killians Torso, and black legs
Thank you so much for that comment! I wasn't sure if people were still into those characters anymore, but I definitely really like how they turned out. I think hiccup is actually one of the best that I made for this video.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, it's definitely a classic from my childhood. I remember the scene where zero hits the counselor in the head with the shovel being absolutely hilarious and intense at the same time
I absolutely adore a good purist custom. Most dedicated people can figure out how to decal, uv, or pad print, but restricting yourself to using existing Lego parts and colors adds a whole new level of creativity and beauty. Great work!
