Incredible video! In case you'll make more VR games, there is a Blender Addon called VR Scene Inspection, which allows you to play the Blender scene in a VR headset (really helps with the scale issues)

I was also making a very similar VR game (video on my channel), and I had pretty much the same problems. Though... I was never able to fix the haptics in Unreal Engine for my Vive :(
