I think these are great! It gives you options to play FPS and RTS games that need abit more screen retail, more useful if travelling or not wanting to be tied to a desk! I personally for my use case see myself moving a way from a traditional desktop and going for Pc handheld with these types of accessories! I’m older and find 1080 60fps more then good enough, I don’t think we are far from achieving that with medium to high settings
@@BarelyAverageDudeoh yeah ! definitely is a good start, wouldn’t even bother packing my keyboard and an extra wire lol. Just have it built in once either handheld or laptop mode.
Those things so light like a chrome book but overly expensive! Always wanted to try Asus remote desktop App on my tablet or Chromebook but I don't feel like spending $100 to upgrade windows 11 to the pro version!
@BarelyAverageDude thanks for responding. My question was like would you see this more for people who cant afford 1.3k+ for a thin gaming laptop(going form for form). If money isnt an issue not sure if i would buy
@@jpnzo2k12 this is not necessarily for people who can’t afford a laptop. I think this is for people who want more versatility. With this set up you can have a handheld when you want and you can also have a laptop when you need it. A laptop is only ever just a laptop, It can never be a handheld.
Problem is the price. Costs as much as the Ally itself. Costs more than a cheap laptop and this is just a cheap laptop without any components. Great idea, terrible price. Shouldnt cost more than $150USD not $400...
