Buddy installed geforce now and called it a gaming laptop

I use GeForce on all types of laptops including one worse than the one you used here. My old laptop is over a decade old and has no lag just delay. There may be a specific issue with that laptop or it might be your WiFi which it tends to lag when your WiFi isn’t the best. Also GeForce doesn’t really heat your laptop because it isn’t actually the game it’s just streaming. Basically you connected a gaming pc to a monitor and play on the monitor with some delay. Your laptop is the monitor. That’s metaphorically how I’d explain it. All I’m saying is it might be your WiFi or your laptop because I have no issue. Make sure you’re playing in performance mode lowest settings for much better fps, less delay, and less lag. Also make sure you have at least 5G WiFi as that’s what GeForce suggests and make sure it’s actually installed and you aren’t playing on the web because the web is practically unplayable. And lastly make sure your laptop doesn’t have tons of files especially useless or huge ones. Ensuring/fixing these things WILL help.

Tip: Step 1 Turn Secure Boot Off But Before Hand Make Sure You Have an Extra USB 64MB Step 2 Put Chrome Setup On The 64mb USB Step 3 use a 4gb USB Stick and put the latest version of tiny10 on the USB and install tiny10 for 1gb ram usage and low spec requirements That will make your old pc faster, and it has all drivers, but almost every unnecessary app, including a browser, is striped out

no hate towards this guy, but the title is really misleading. GeForce NOW doesn't make your laptop/desktop a gaming PC, it just uses your internet connection to connect to the NVIDIA computers, this is called cloud gaming, you use NVIDIAs computers to play ON THEIR computers, your pc is sorta like a remote controller. the downside of this technology is, as he said, the input delay, this can be sorta fixed by having a fast connection AND being close to the NVIDIA servers, not the game (for example Fortnite) servers. formatting your disk is also pointless if you're running GeForce, as it mainly uses your internet speed/ping and CPU. Another idea was to upgrade the HDD to an SSD, but it would still be useless regardless.

Okay so I just watched this video halfway through and I'm hoping that getting a laptop cooler and downloading GeForce now is exactly what I need to improve the performance of my brand new school laptop so I hope your video helps. I'll update this comment when I can 👍👍 Edit: I didn't need a laptop cooler but a GeForce subscription is what I needed and the priority membership for 50 bucks for half a year is more than worth it 👍👍

Quick tip for all you GeForce gamers, if you go to task manager and set priority on GeForce to high then the input delay wont be nearly as bad. It worked for me.

Hey vermax this is a special request, how *on windows* do you make my windows boost fps because Fortnite runs like 30-50 fps

Gain performance with higher resolution using my method. Shrink your display resolution down to 1280x525 wide screen to squeeze out the maximum fps. You need a program called Custom Resolution Utility to make 1280x525. 525 is equivalent to 720p but a wide screen version of it. Then next step would be to connect to a TV. If you have an OLED TV. There's a button on the remote called Live Zoom. Keep clicking on that button until you'll have a perfect 16.9 4k TV screen,....magic😅. 525 is HD because it's the same as 720p. Just zoom in on the TV to get full 4k 16.9 with maximum performance.
