Tried this, Near future tech, 3 classes of soldiers on each team, both sides have one specialty. The map was 4 buildings, 2 central small towers, and two smaller buildings on the flanks. Went well for a few rounds, but then Chat GPT stopped giving correct orders for me too move their characters to counteract my moves, instead just saying one blank statement like "I will Defend." over and over which means nothing. Edit: specialty meant different call ins (I.E orbital cannon shots, Heavy Artillery, or reinforcements which are limited)

@@Yenz0 I have now retried it and it ended nearly as bad as last time. It didn't start repeating orders, at least not as much, but it started think my troops were it's so it kept walking them into the same room as mine and it turned into a meat grinder, even when i corrected it didn't work. In the end I told it Im done, and that I want to bang my head on a wall rather than continue playing with it.

Infantry getting wounded, if in group, that 1 specific person will cower untill next turn, if not in group that person will bleed out in 2 turns unless someone gets there. Infantry getting KILLED, if in group that entire group will cower until next turn.

I actually love this concept. I did this myself but in more of a Combat Mission fashion adding hypothetical factions to the "game" had hours of fun just writing prompts and making whole campaigns. Infact did entire squadron based missions combining elements of War thunder and IL-2 Sutrovik together. I'd love to see more how you talked to ChatGPT and made your own game bro. For example, depending on the type of weapon will depend on the duration of fire, for example, automatic rifles 1-2 seconds machine gun 5 seconds and so on. The moves of units are calculated in meters. Like a full move 16 meters Half move 12 meters. After half a move you can use inaccurate shooting or throw a grenade.

Tbf dont we all do that when doing those battles? There is no AI that could shoot for you, so you got to shoot something first then shoot the other thing at the thing you just shot at. Except for that one AI mod that stopped getting updates (as far as i know) and is kind of limited not as fun, you can do that in gmod instead.
I love, how it kinda shows the struggles and the challenges that can occur during battles and conflicts. The idea and way this works is so good, and extremely re watchable

Did you make the mortar barrage manually ? all explosive-launching weapons have no spread so when i would try to make a artillery barrage the shells would all fall in the same spot

i tried this, it ended pretty sadly, there were two soldiers left, one russian, one german, they fought in hand-to-hand combat, the german stabbed the russian, the russian replied by choking out the german, and violently beating him, the russian would lay down to rest and succumbed to his injuries next to his fallen comrades the battle ended in a tie :(
