Might I say, ignore some parts that may not line up properly, we rushed this little scene. Also thank you to everyone who helped me with this. I know it is really short and uneventful, but I wanted to make this for a while, thank you all who helped, and if anyone would like to work on a second one, just ask. :] I have a discord server where you folks can join me in the making of another piece like this: discord.gg/FnrvRTcZsC
"And as those miserable fiends would have had it, they would've dishonored our names so badly we'd execute ourselves... For when I gave that order and the men fired their rifles, all but one, I could not help but feel disgusted... 'Mercy' is what they call it... If it was us on the lineup, they wouldn't have shown mercy... That young man's family shall be sent no remorse, for he had dishonored their names, and his Imperium..." This is canonically what he wrote. But fr though, I got a second one ready to be made, I just need the people.
This does not make perfect sense in the lore of Centaura, because Kalvin Tau ordered his officers to make sure that his their men will treat the POWs and civilians nicely, but there were some officers that got away with not telling their men to treat civilians and POWs nicely, but it was rare.
The POV soldier snitches to higher command, and the officer is put in a military prison, where only two weeks into his sentence, he used sheets from his cot to hang himself.
It would be a bit more realistic if the cetus POW's weren't emotionless throughout the entire video like, they would be begging for their lives or try to run away because there's nothing holding them to the truck.
Something noticed during WW2 when the Germans were executing people (civilians and soldiers) was that the people stood still. They didn't try to fight back, they didn't beg.. They just stood still. This is because, as people, our survival instinct is prioritized over endangering ourselves. This is even when death is certain. People think that if they just remain being a good little boy and follow orders, they'd be spared - of course, this never happened.
In white mouth estuary. The Antares actually gave each enemy soldier which died in battle a proper burial. Because of their valiant efforts to get back their nation. But those who surrendered, well, they were punished brutally.
Back when it was actually a lego game, you were trying to fight and kill people who looked the exact same as you apart from being colored differently with multiple different weapons in so called "Brickbattles." The "childrens" "lego" "game" has always been violent from the start.
@@randomtexanguy9563 You fought to kill people who didn't look like people, who were clearly lego figurines. Please don't pretend you don't see the difference between 2008 and 2024
@@kostan55 I have played 2008 clients and there are so many differences. Most importantly though, every *brick* had circular studs lego-like studs (with a distinctive 'R' on top) and circular inlets to match to connect bricks together like legos! Everything was connected by these studs and inlets as well as Weld Joints and Glue Joints (like how you can use superglue on legos to keep them together better). You could use Revolute Joints (commonly referred to as 'Hinges') to make stuff able to swivel and spin freely. You could make wheels on a car or a seesaw! Also, the characters really looked like shiny plastic! Hats you could put on them could also be like shiny plastic, as well as Shirts... And Pants. Pants Pants Pants Pants. Not to mention T-Shirts! It's like detail that was printed onto a minifig! It was truly like lego! Today, Roblox has opted in for a far more realistic look. Characters no longer look like shiny plastic. They have become far more human and you can even get rid of that lego minifig look if you choose to. The capabilities of the new engine allow them to be programmed by developers to scream, feel pain, bleed, and have body parts be dismembered or blown off (such as in the game this video takes place in) Smooth Terrain was introduced to provide a much more realistic feel to terrain and environments (visible in this video), and now terrain no longer has these lego studs. (Not to mention that in 2009 the circular studs were changed to square studs to avoid potential copyright issues from LEGO themselves [see US10229421B2 for context]) "Parts" are now by default smooth, as in lacking anything on the surface like studs, inlets, and joints (no parts in this video have any studs or inlets on them). I don't see how it's still a "lego game." It's not even a game, it's a game platform, as it has always been for over 20 years. Please don't pretend you see the difference between 2008 and 2024
Antares are heavily nationalistic, so it would make sense that someone of higher command would order his soldiers to commit an act like this in the name of the Imperium.
The POV soldier snitches to higher command, and the officer is put in a military prison, where only two weeks into his sentence, he used sheets from his cot to hang himself.
Well I mean this happens sometimes look at the Japanese or the waffen SS Note: the Wehrmacht did not execute prisoners of war hence the waffen SS specification
@@Lieutenant_panzer131 A lot of different nations did this sort of thing. Soviets. Nazis. Imperial Japanese. French. Americans in the Philippines. Mexicans. Spanish. British. Basically, if the country existed, this happened at least once.
@@Lieutenant_panzer131 the wehrmacht were guilty of many war crimes including the execution of prisoners of war, alongside intentionally starving them (soviets).
I quickly teamed him Cetus. If the player has actually move or done something, they'll keep the current nation's uniform, but be teamed to the other faction.
It has nothing to do with the video but in my headcanon in Centaura's universe it is the same as that of real life, only in Centaura the planet called forma is in another solar system.
@@GeneralDelta072agree yep some of the officers disobeyed their commander order and lie manipulate their soldier they said it the higher up order to kill the pow and civilian when its not when the higher up senior officers find out these atrocities they put to trial court n some general even shoot these officers with their own pistol to make sure the military still have its moral dignity humanity not to disgrace the military code of honor
