I Turned Tears of the Kingdom BOSSES into POKEMON 

I hope when you're done with all the designs and plot for this you can make a game out of it

Arocknid works really well as a "bug hiding in a rock" since there are actual Zelda enemies like that in the Game Boy games!

I can imagine Glacirift, Gohmarble, Dokuvore and Desiquen being on the Ganondorf's Team, alongside the Siezed Construct fakemon and having Phantasmare (or a fakemon based on Totk's Phantom Ganon) being his ace!

I would like to see the male-branch evolution of the Grubdo line in a future episode!

I was kinda expecting Muctorock's gimmick to be something similar to Wishiwashi's Schooling. It has two forms: the busted shark form and the weaker normal form. It starts in shark form but turns into normal form once it's in 50% hp.

Glacirift goes so hard, I’d love to use that in a hypothetical game

These are so good! I definitely want Muckoyaki and Dokuvore on my team! A suggestion though… perhaps, if Shiverpede and Centifrost have unique names, they should be treated as convergent evolution Pokémon rather than regional variants? Like Diglett and Wiglett. It’s probably not particularly necessary, but I think it sounds a bit better.

I loved how the face turned out on Glacirift. The color and texture of the ice looks really good.

These all look so good! I think with how much havoc they cause, maybe in the world they get mistaken for legendaries or some really strong pokemon, and then they come to the realization that it's mostly the gloom doing the work. My favorite is Glacirift, mostly cuz I'm super biased. The whole Wind Temple was a nostalgic trip for me, and it peaked when I saw the name pop up and immediately knew it was a big reference to Molgera.

The only comment I have is that the Gibdo Pokémon are immune to electric type. I think it would be cool if you give them an ability that makes them resist more types but is weak to electric. I love your videos!

I love all the bosses in totk and I think you captured them perfectly, these are probably my favourite designs of yours, especially the colgera and gibdo lines

I absolutely love Desiquen. Queen Gibdo was my favorite boss in the game and the design you made for it really does capture the energy Queen Gibdo gives off ingame.

I just have to say, as someone who's horrified of bugs, and who was very happy to just not have to see queen Gibdo for a while after beating her, you made Desiquen so incredibly appealing and charming I honestly love that design It really does remind me of how bug Pokémon designs are made more appealing by simplifying and stylizing the features of real life insects These designs are all amazing!

The idea of the bosses in TOTK being just regular, if rare, pokemon makes sense since they exist and can be rematch in the Depths, meaning they aren't the only ones

why do i want these bossmon just vibing and dancing in their battle arenas

Having Moth Gibdos be the male evolution is actually really clever when you take into account Gerudo culture and history, as well as in-game events. I must ask if you’re going to make Fakemon out of the Gloom Spawn, Seized Construct, and the immortal passive dragons, they could be really cool.

A lot of Bosses in the Legend of Zelda have smaller stages you can find throughout their dungeons, or other creatures that could be considered smaller variants. For instance, the Twilight Arachnid version of Gohma has several smaller spiders you can find throughout its dungeon, and it itself s literally an eye on the back of a slightly larger spider, so it would work out as a full line. There are some bosses i think would need to be legendary, but most of them could simply be full lines on their own

I think the direction you went with the gibdo makes sense for your project, I love the idea of them being a cocoon pokemon, especially the way you tied it together with the hives. That said, I read a fan theory that the gibdo are actually a form of parasite that take over corpses as protection which I absolutely love for my head-canon and makes them so much more menacing to me!

Dokuvore is most definitely my favorite. It looks so goofy and adorable!

Once again you made such great designs! Also in the clip of Fighting Colgera, you actually don't need to use items to uncover the weak spots. I dive down and broke through the ice and the purple weakspot easily!

the muckdorok fakemon might’ve also made sense as a multiformed mon, like Wishiwashi, since we don’t really see muckdorok fighting by itself without the muck shark

The Grubdo-Desiquen line is the best design out of all of them. It's close to the whimsical creature approach that Pokenon does with a touch of Zelda reference. You should take the 70/30 design approach when it comes to collabing Pokemon and Zelda instead of literally keeping all the Zelda traits and saying it's Pokemon. Lots of room for interpretation when you try the 70/30 method

I can imagine all these pokemon summoning some kind of weather upon entry, desiquen summons a sandstorm, gohmarble summons harsh sun, glacirift summons hail / snow, and muckoyaki summons rain, why rain? To help out dokuvore! In case they have the swift swim ability (which increases speed in rain)

Just recently as I was awaiting for this video's release, one thought I had was the Gleeoks. What if they were regional variants of Hydreigon and much like the lynel, it could have elemental variants and maybe even a gloom version. The biggest concern would be how the King Gleeok would work as it is a mix of all 3 elements and even has a gloom variation. If anythiñg, maybe the device used to hold the elemental power can also hold multiple and and with a certain amount of each essence, it can evolve into a King Gleeoks. Kinda like how Tyrogue requires specific stats to be equal for the evolutions. Maybe the gloom variations could be caused by something else. The Hydreigon inspiration actually was something I noticed recently as well since in my own story, Hydreigon had a Gigantamax form based on two things back then. The first being King Ghidorah as I felt that the larger and more menacing look would fit, and secondly, Tri-Attack. Each head would've glowed with one of the 3 types of Tri-Attack and would focus on that type. I came up with this concept about a year or more ago, before the Gleeoks were even revealed for Tears of the Kingdom as the game was still a much bigger mystery back then. So maybe something like Hydreigon would work well for this Fakemon.

I would have thought that Mucktorock would be more similar to Wishiwashi than tatsugiri, but it was executed really well

I've done the math and there are enough unique bosses to fill an entire regional Pokedex with legendaries.

You should add a feature that when you give a gloom eye to handead it should evolve and turn into gloom hands

I was about to complain how if these are all meant to be the totk bosses, they should have more similar conventions to their evolutions, but then i remembered the main thing with the actual totk bosses... is that their as distinct as possible on *purpose,* so you what this is actually perfect.

I could so see some of these Mons being actual Zelda encounters, especially the Grubdo since they could pop out and latch onto Link like leeches (and those blue blobs from the Mario Galaxy series).

These concepts are seriously so cool.

I just binge watched all of the videos for this project and my gosh I needed this in my life. Your art is perfect for this mixed medium and I love the even mix between original pokemon and variants of existing pokemon. Twilight Princess holds a special place in my heart since I grew up on that one, so I love all of the references! The zant pokemon caught me off guard ngl. I cannot wait for a Midna inspired design. Like maybe a regional form of Hoopa, with the bound form being her imp form! Keep doing these videos, PLEASE, I'll definitely be watching from the shadows.

Amazing as always, love these designs and agree, cartoon Zelda characters are already so well fitted to the Pokemon universe. My favourite in the video was definitely Grubdo, cute but keeps the aesthetic of the original monster. I'd love to see a Pokemon trainer Ganondorf and his lineup in a video, would be really cool to see what you could come up with!

To me the gibdo looked like a bug that burrowed into a corpse, which is worse than just normal corpse

I just binge watched this entire series! I Love this! I have been going back and forth from pokémon to Zelda during the summer and this series is getting me so excited! I love your art and I desperately want these to be put into some kind of fan made game! Loving the shiny forms you add occasionally! I eagerly await glooms hands and possibly a Guardian as pokémon or as Boss legendaries! Your latest Bogo Bogo kinda resembled Gloom hands. Also your into gives me Eyewitness vibes. IYKYK

My first thought of translating bosses into Pokémon designs was for them to be more like totem or Titan Pokémon rather than legendaries, normal Pokémon you can find through other means, but have larger versions that act as proper boss fights. As someone who’s absolute favorite thing from TOTK as a whole was the Gibdos you did them so much justice! Would 100% use Desiquen as my ace if this was an actual game. Something I’m not sure you intended but I found cool regardless, I thought her name was originally a mix of desecrate, vespiquen, and desert.

My favorite has to be Glacirift! So friggin epic and gives Delibird and Articuno a run for their money. If I might make a suggestion for new Link dimension Pokémon I’d say either make legendaries based off the dragons Dinraal, Farosh, and Lanaryu. Or as an alternative make a pseudo legendary based on either the Tears of the kingdom gleeok with varying elemental forms like you did with the lynels or maybe do something with divine beast Pokémon.

I love how the colgera line is a convergent form and despite being similar, I love how mucktorok was a pokemon artstyle remake of th eboss.

I loved all of then, but specially Grubdo's line! Also, i'm very curious about wall the male version of Desiquen will look-like. Now a sugestion, you should remove Muckoyaki's arms and replace then with the vampire-squid or sea vampire umbrella-like tentacles and make it appear to be a defenceless pokemon, because if it have such a shy and weak appearence, people will think it is easy to defeat, right? Well, it's true, in thill it summons Dokuvore!

The tektite is what I thought of when I saw the armored Ghoma. But your design is awesome!

I think a bug/stone type variant of Dewpider and Araquanid with a regional evolution (or just a Dewpider variant with a regional evolution) could have also worked as the marbled gohma pokemon

With the final gohma and the mucktorock+shark designs specifically, I think maybe you were a little *TOO* afraid to stray from the OG designs since it looks... more like fanart of these bosses? less like... pokemon-feeling? Gohma especially feels like you could've reduced at least some parts down so they didn't feel like... just the boss? ya know? maybe making the legs more solid rather than having the segments could help? More Legs to make it more like a spider? idk, it could just be me I do enjoy the art on a technical level btw, it is gorgeous, and I still can't wait to see more of the region every time you put out a vid

Arocknid kinda sorta completely looks like a Tektite (specifically OoT). Try working that in somehow and it will add more zelda game sources to the lore of this line.

Just as an idea, it should be called pokemon strength, pokemon courage, and pokemon wisdom. There should even be regional legendaries and depending on the game you get the legendary would be based on the respective golden goddess.

I think Galicrift's design, while cool, has very little in common with the Centiskorch line it evolves from. I think it needs to look more like Centiskorch or else not evolve from it. I honestly think it could afford to look less like Colgera and still be recognizably based on it.

10:37 This was my favourite desaign of the video for some reason so here is an Alt Dex Entry: Mushtomb- class: Hive Cocoon Mushtombs roam the deserts of the Gerudo desert. They are covered by a lair of sticky wet goo that covers their body of sand and a mud like substance; for this reason, noone knows their real aspect. They are usually stationary, and usually stay underground. Accidentally stepping on one and getting stuck in their mud can be a death sentence, since they are able to send trough boosting spores signals that speed up egg hatching & signals of danger to their queen & workers. They are common in Grubdo nests and are preyed by (insert Molduga pokemon) in the wild.

An easy thing to do to avoid legendaries of all the bosses would be to just give them a bunch of non boss prevos that turn into bosses by some unnatural cause

Ganon idea: take three gloom eyes to the center of the castle and use them in succession to spawn him. Maybe take old boar Ganon designs to inspire him, while keeping the gloom made look. Ghost and dark typing.

I know it's technically a spoiler for those who haven't gotten that far in tears of the kingdom, but you missed the fifth temples boss, aka: the seized construct. I feel like it would definitely fit in with the other bosses in this set maybe as an evolution to one of your previous construct Pokémon using the gloom eye, or related to a possible Pokémon based on Mineru's/Kohga's constructs.

The Marbled Gohma Pre-Evo does look like a Tektite, so you could see it as that.

I really hope the Yiga Clan is the “evil” team, the one that doesn’t end up being the big bad in the end but still causes a lot of trouble, a la Team Skull, Yell, and Star

These all looks so cool I freaking love that colgera and the gibdos those are probably some of my favorites you've designed Also you mentioned that Muktorock is the only nonbug boss but i think they were going for parasites as the vibe because every boss is based on a parasitic past bosses like ghoma and colgera or the queen gibdo and muktorock having parasite like motifs, the gibdos being bugs infesting long dead bodies according to the yiga books and muktorock attaching to the water works and infesting the water
