I Worked For The Largest Supermarket Chain In The Country. I Saw So Much Food Waste It Made Me Sick. Sadly It Was Very Hard To Get People To Pick Up The Outdated Product. You Could Never Donate Perishable Items. I Will Say The Last 10 Years It's Got Better. With The Government And Retailers Working Together. But We Have A Long Way To Go.

I work for Costco and I can say we donate a massive amount of food and it’s all thoroughly checked before sent out Also most of the produce that goes rotten we give away to a local pig farm and they use it for pig feed it’s kinda awesome to see tbh

[hehe] Just consider if another trucker would think to visit a restaurant right next to a truck stop that would have eggs to potentially get any, uncooked. I personally wasn't expecting that you'd get any, but they gave you two! Did they even charge you for them? If ya hadn't done that extra walking then you wouldn't have gotten that lil bit of extra exercise. It might not have done much for ya due to the minimal distance, but it's still more work on your body.
