Bhai i am very happy with my Pixel 8 pro 256GB I got it from US for 72k. I am very casual gamer and for day to day task it works great and after December update phone doesn't heat up at all. Even network is fine since I am on 4G Vodafone. If you are a hard-core gamer don't buy this phone. If you want clean Android and day 1 update buy this phone.

Yes, my iphone 15 pro max is better than my P8pro in heavy games like Genshin but honestly, 99% of the people buying pro iphones or Ultras don't do heavy gaming. Nonetheless, my 15 pro max drops the brightness after 15 mins of heavy gameplay although A17 pro has better raw performance than the Tensor G3. In my usage, the display and speakers are neck and neck on both. Photos are better on the Pixel, especially selfies if you don't like the wax skin look on the iphones. Videos are comparable in day-light although Iphone nudges ahead with log video which most won't use anyway. *In low-light, the new AI night-sight video of the P8pro beats the 15 pro max which I found to be very interesting.* Without Pixel's AI video, Iphone 15 pro max takes better videos in low-light. And the cinematic blur is crap on both Pixel and Iphone...and in my honest opinion they both look fake af. Portrait mode edge detection is an issue with the new Pixels but it's mostly great overall. But we can be sure that Pixel's will again win the Mkbhd's blind canera comparison like they've for years now...if not then atleast in top 3. Although the device shows 1-2 less signal towers but I never faced any network issues or call-drops as such. No heating issues whatsoever yet. P8pro's WiFi reception is better than my 15 pro max although my brothers S23U has better wifi reception than both. Also, not just haptics but typing in general including Pixel's AI voice assistant and AI voice typing is just leagues ahead of the iphone. Then there are feature drops on Pixel devices every 3 months. *One needs to use a Pixel to feel that difference as even Mkbhd has a P8pro as his main.* With all that A17 pro's performance, multitasking, customisation etc is still a dream on the iphones. Many people would prefer a phone that's good in multitasking instead of gaming and P8pro, especially S23U nudges way ahead of the iphones. Also, you'll get 7 years of update as Google has never broken a promise regarding their updates so idk what's the fuss all about. Still, I think Iphone 15 pro max gets brownie points over the Pixel due to it's better performance but you're paying much more too. Also, Ios 16/17 has been more buggy than the Android 14 with Material UI on the Pixel. And yes, it's true that Iphones are less practical, be it storage, or connecting external devices or pairing with multiple systems or downloading stuff from the net etc. And the File system is a joke tbh. You'll feel the heat the moment you want to share or copy some stuff from one app/location/device to others if you're not in the Apple ecosystem. Then there's no consistent back gesture and *God knows why Apple decided that Lockscreen should be more customisable than the damn homescreen.* I guess, people should wait for S24U as of now or get the P8pro in sales. Both iphones and Pixels are overpriced in India regardless of it. *Ps:* If you think having an iPhone is a status symbol, well think twice as even my watchman has an iphone 14 now. Thinking your unit is defective ,, I haven't any issue of jittering in high temperature ... And yeah iPhone also heats a lot as compared to pixel 8 pro.. IDK why people is hating this mobile 😢😢😢
Pixel is not ment for gaming its a professional phone for grownups. Facing no heating issues.. potrait blur is very good, don't know why your phone is messed up 😂. Have you updraded it ? S23 ultra is better no doubt. But 8pro is better than iPhone.. i got 256gb in 96000 Ultra is 1.15 lk.. Another reason to get this phone was its design. Ultra is ultra boxy..
I think flat display is better than curved one because curved is difficult to maintenance and I have faced this issues on my Note 20 ultra and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra too 💔💔😭😭

For its performance don't blame on Google. The main CULPRIT is SAMSUNG Exynos 2300 renamed as Tensor G3❗😈😈 Still Google is managing to get best out of it.. Just wait for Tensor G5 in Pixel 10 series that's when you compare it with iPhone & Samsung Flagship. And regarding price i still think it's OK. Considering it's a Google flagship phone with the best software experience you can get..Thank you.😊
Because of the processor, this phone should've been priced below 70k, that too for pixel fans only. Any phone with unreliable connectivity is not worth our money IMHO
Pixel is not for gaming, but more on AI stuff. Other than gaming, this phone performs good. Lots of software AI stuff which we cannot find on other androids.
bro, I'm using 6a. I love pixel phones but "not for gaming" is not a good justification for doing average in basic tasks. Network reception, thermal throttling these are basic tasks. Pixels don't do a good job in these tasks. Samsung was also in this category "not for gaming" but they had to upgrade to snapdragon and now see the ultra, it's excellent on almost every side. You can't compromise on performance and make it up with AI stuff. Stop this fanboyism.
@@debrajsom Bro.. there is lot of performance difference between 6a to 8 & 8 pro. There is no issues with network or doing normal stuff. I do even light gaming with my 8 pro. It runs normal for me. Agree that there were issues with 6 and 7 series. But 8 series, it is good.

If you hate it go live under a rock brother p8p don't heat on any regular task and aslo while playing games for about 2 hrs below 39 degree is completely normal what you all ppl thought like no body will have this phone what ever we say cheltha please don't even review any other phone
you did not installed December update, after week you will test again, GPU, AI CORE , Video boots Etc.. with new massive update that will help to understand more.
Pixel is not for gamers, for them there are Chinese brand, pixel is for us, we kove pixel, processor is very ok for any task, and Google almost know how yo optimize everything by pushing ota update, Google is google, not as like you guys RU-vid tech channel without proper tech knowledge and without any universities degree also👆
.yes certainly not worth on the price at all the tensor processor based on samsung sucks.....heating issue still remains.....even iphone 15 PRO AND MAX had heating issues but it got sorted with updates but not google pixel 8 pro.....and network issue still pertains......only saving grace is the camera on this device......google should also update hardware and camera specs regularly not always depend on AI and ML........nice work on the review.👍
