This soap is really effective. Just a suggestion don’t use soap directly on the face, you just need to rub soap gently on the hands because it lathers so much and ends so quickly. Cut it into cubes and use it. also don’t go harsh while lathering soap on the face, it will cause skin damage, just go gently and do it for for 1-2 mins as per your skin type. The longer we keep it on skin the better because Kojic acid takes time to penetrate in the skin. It’s somewhat drying so dry skin people , don’t use more than 30-40 secs and moisturise your skin well.

This soap has Kojic acid, which comes from fermented rice or fermented mushrooms. If you use wet rice powder on your face and hands, it too has skin lighting effects. This soap does not bleach your skin, but will brighten it. For some people it will work, for others it may not. Wearing sunblock is important, whether or not you use this soap. Hyperpigmentation goes darker in the sun, therefore making it even more harder to get rid of, plus trying to rectify sun damage.

@@umadebnath9531 This has been my experience. I use it mostly once a day, because I have dry skin with hyperpigmentation. I find it drying to my skin, but good for lightening the hyperpigmentation at the side of my face. If I use the soap too much, it will have an adverse effect, such as my skin going darker, because it has been irritated. It is important not to over dry your skin with this soap. I try not to lather it too much, or leave it on my face for more than 2 minutes. I guess is you have oily skin you can leave it longer. Has it lightened my skin? I would say brighten is more the truth. It does take a while, I would say it's more like something that is part of your routine and not instant. You also need to be careful what you put on your face afterwards, because not everything reacts well with Kojic acid. To summarize, in my opinion this is not the equivalent to a bleaching soap, but gently brightens over time.

@@puresoul7320 Kojic acid can be used in any form but choose the one based on your goals and skin tolerance. Serums are most effective, while soaps are least for the face. If you want to use Kojic acid serum and have dehydrated or dry skin, then do not forget to add Hyaluronic acid and a non-comedogenic moisturizer in your routine

This is true as I’ve been using this for 10 years, you can tell by two weeks of using that you’re skin is kinda taking some of dead skin cells. And also some people mistakenly asked me if I’m taking whitening pills. Not tbh this is the only one I’m Using and a whitening lotion with higher spf.

Kojic acid soaps are really popular here in the Philippines and it is mainly used for skin brightening or if you want to make your skin whiter. Just be careful on using it. Some ppl are allergic to it and might course irritation as it is a acid soap. Make sure to do a patch test before using it, so you'd know your skin is compatible with the Kojic soap.

Okay so this soap is actually very affective when you are consistent but the issue is I used it on my skin for a good year maybe more and I considered it my go to, but the issue is it has an effect of like messing with the miosture barrier on your skin so keep that in mind because it's not that it caused skin dryness but skin dehydration, so keep that in mind cause if your skin is not hydrated that could potentially affect the quality of the skin as you age.

@amanch9085 no your skin doesn't get darker when you stop using it, it's gonna be lighter and brighter but it's gonna dehydrate your skin and it can also potentially make your skin a bit more sensitive to the sun

I’ve been using it for 10 Years, and people mistaken me to take whitening pills. I don’t use it on my face anymore as it tends to dry you’re skin, and I don’t need more rejuvenation, to see the results, you have to at least not wash the soap right away, wait for 3 to 5 minuets if you’re using it to you’re body, and if using on the face, only wait for 1 min, so it will not burn your skin, make sure to moisturizer well, and use lotion or cream with spf, because that soap will wash away you’re melanin, so better be using sunblock.

@@shuuji4741 that’s the best lotion the Vaseline, I’ve used it before, that’s hard to find here in Canada, right now I’m using Nivea whitening with spf instead, of course you can use aveeno, but make sure if you using kojic into you’re face as well, please make sure that the aveeno has an spf in it. So you don’t burn you’re skin.

@@shuuji4741 don’t let it sit about 3-5 min if you’re itching a lot, and use it every two times a week, i have that silkha papaya before as well, it’s good too but it won’t get you really white like the kojic, but it’s better everyday soap. Also silka papaya lotion is not bad either.

Cut into small pieces, put in to pump jar, fill it with mineral water & leave it for a night, voila . . .you got a liquid face wash, it really simple then use a bar soap on your face. And after you should mousturize your skin as well to make it not to dry

I love this soap so much . It is really effective to remove your tan . I use it mostly for legs and hands. I used for face only to remove dark spot and pigmentation. It works well on it. Cut some cube of this soap because it melts easily & it's is little bit expensive also so tin this way you can use it for a long time. Use it once in a day then leave for 1 2 min and after this don't forget to apply thick moisturizer and SPF. From the use of one month you can see the results. It your skin is sensitive then do a patch test or use twice or three in month.

Kojic is an ingredient that helps whiten the skin by preventing the melanin production which gives color ( brown nor dark) however wrong usage may cause irritation that's why we must used sunscreen. According to experts kojic is effective if it's use in cream based rather than soap because it leaves in the skin in longer time and soaps are very drying.

Make sure you avoid the sun, or use lots of sunscreen and moisturize if you use this soap i used it all over my body years ago and no one on RU-vid mentioned the above and it caused me to gain stretch marks and because i lived in Florida i ended up getting a permanent tan. My skin didn’t go back to its original color in the winter like it normally does when i moved back up north.

Omg yes I learnt the hard way. Was legit 50 shades darker. I wouldn’t have minded being darker but I was the ashiness that also came with it. I’m going away for weeks soon so I’m hoping a very strong sunscreen will suffice because I’ll probably be in the sun a lot 😭

Philippines is the main maker of this soap this is very famous soap in the philippines a lot of poeple are using this soap because it is very effective in improving the appearance of the skin,it also very good and most recommeded when it comes of drying the pimples, but dont let This soap stay on your face for too long becuase it would irritate the skin instead use this soap 40-50 seconds to avoid any problem such as to much dryness and always make sure to avoid sun exposure because it will make your skin dry and Red, and sometime it can burn your skin, so always moisturize and apply sunscreen but again in general dont let your skin expose to the sun,because this is a kind of soap that has an ACID.

Its name 🌼 Sebamin 🌼 has become nothing but normal I used it. Because of this, I am afraid to use this, as it may increase the pills in my face I was 12 years old and had pimples or acne. I had a horrible tan from hiking all day in a scorching hot sun. And got tanned upto 3-4 times darker than my og skin tone. Couldn't get rid of it for a year no matter what I've tried. This is a popular soap in the Philippines and I'm not sure if it is a Filipino brand although I'm from the Philippines. I don't use it anymore because I have really sensitive skin but that soap is superior when it comes to skin whitening. However, please don't use it directly on your skin and be sure to use moisturizer and sunscreen right after that.

This soap really good.. I always skeptical about soap, I never thought soap can do much to your skin. But this soap does, I use it for my face for 2 - 3 times a week to make my skin tone even, cz I already have fair skin, but my hand back are very uneven with the wrist cause by sun, I use this soap after body scrub it really change my skin tone to its original color before sun burn for 3 days. Just started my My kojic acid soap journey today 😂 and I’m now just realising wow I should’ve tested my left arm 😂 instead doing a test run on HALF of my face 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ oh well I’ll stick it through till the end. I hate how my arms are visibly more tanner/darker than the rest of my body, especially my forehead. Probably because they always catch the sun the easiest. Lovely video. Just to stress though that it's recommended to really hydrate your skin when using Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) products like Kojic Acid, because they are very drying on the skin... Avoid sensitive areas like your eye area. Don't forget your sunscreen during the day.... 💜

@Dessy Bieber-Jackson if you only focus on exfoliation I suggest just use a thin not rough and not super soft small towel, put some shower gel or any soap bubble it up. and scrub it on you’re body. After that get some other whitening soap to lather into you’re skin. If you out of kojic acid soap try the one with papaya enzyme ingredients. Papaya whitening soap, citrus soap like lemon and some soap with alpha Arbutin ingredients. But most of the time lotion can make you white than soap.

@@mscaery I’ve been using Kojic for ten years, but i stopped using it on my face for almost 4 years now. As it will kinda burn your skin overtime if using everyday on you’re face, but this is really effective if you want you’re acne scars dark spots to go away, but let it sit only for 1-2 min on the face. 3-5 min on the body, make sure to moisturize, and put lotion with spf everytime.

Do not use directly on your face. Lather and apply soap in your hands onto face. I use a double cleanse method with John Masters pomegranate face oil follow with Cerave moisturizer. My complexion is amazing. It took about 4 months to clear my acne and even out my complexion.

You are so pretty! ❤️ I've been using kojie-san soap for more than 10 years now but I only use it on my body, i cant use it on my face cos it gives me acne. (Idk my face just dont like it lol). Its really drying but very effective. Its also affordable here in the Philippines. You just need a super hydrating lotion/ body creams cos it really dries up your skin for days (if you use it like me- letting it soak for 5 minutes more everyday, when i need to bleach my dead skin) . And it's best to stay out from direct sunlight while you use the soap, it burns and could easily cause hyperpigmentation. Also use sunscreen when going out. :) The only thing I hate about this soap is that it melts quickly! Lol, we usually cut it in squares to save money hehe.

@@spaceodditee8962 hmmm.. not really. :) it depends on one's sun exposure. I don't really go out without my umbrella so I still have fair skin. I also use glutathione injections aside from the soap. But honestly, the soap works well. Especially if I see my skin looking dry and patchy, it acts like a rejuvenating soap. :) so i use it only when i need to lighten up my dark patches.. however, i'd say its best to stay away from direct sunlight when using the soap. I have a friend who loves going to the beach for summers and she got really tan, but after she used the soap for a few weeks she really lightened up a bit..

@@mirasingh7428 try it on one arm first. :) rinse off after less than a minute to check for allergy. If none, you can use it all over the body and rinse well.. it may be very drying at first.. but a hydrating lotion with a drop of body oil can help. :) i dont recommend using it for the face tho. Always remember to use sunscreen.. its also nice to use it every other day so it wont dry the skin too much.. you can also use dove soap for moisture. Best to use it at night time.. Also, after a few days of use, you may start noticing your skin flaking, its nice to use a good and gentle loofah to scrub off the dead skin esp. After a hot shower. :)

Because it is temporarily drying your skin out. Dry skin looks lighter than moist skin. Once your natural moisture returns so will your natural color. In other words, this soap is not effective and a waste of money for skin lightening.

I have used this soap! It works ❤️ one tip- To get the maximum results, specially in winters use hot water on your skin by which the skin pores gets opened, and then use this soap.. apply this on face for a min and then wash! You get awesome results… only bad thing is its price is too high and get melts too quickly.. + makes skin dry too kuch

I really wanted to try this nd went thruh yt videos nd there were good comments nd reviews about it so bought myelsf one from Amazon know that I was super excited to get an even skintone...
