Now if you could make the clouds interact with mountains, that would be amazing. Typically, clouds are lower at night and rise up on the mountain sides in the morning. Imagine standing on the top of a mountain with all the clouds below

Weather would make everything crazy here. Idk if voxel-based rain is simple and elegant, or just extremely difficult to make not more computer intensive than its worth, so you don't need to make the rain that dynamic. But tornadoes?

Super cool! Are you planning on having the voxels abide by any physics? (which would prevent floating islands or unrealistic structures) The reason I ask is I kinda don't want players to pillar over obstacles in my voxel game but I'm not sure how to prevent that. Lol

I know it sounds weird but i think you should take some inspiration from terraria’s world gen, it has amazing cool world gen with diverse underground and above ground biomes. However i get that doing something like that is very hard and time consuming and might not even fit into your vision of the game. But i think it would be cool to have 3d terraria world gen.
