G’day everyone. I have added some points of interest to my voxel game. In these structures you can find valuable loot but beware, as such treasure is often not left unguarded.
I plan to have each biome have their own set of unique points of interest. Many of these will be vital to the progression of the game and will help bring the game world to life.

It may be a bit weird to comment this, but I find it very interesting to have a game development video that is this chill. Nowadays they are usually very hyper. Appreciate the little break. The game looks interesting by the way

Nice work with the camera! I noticed that early on in development the camera was very jumpy when making sure you are on the ground. Now it is much smoother. This is amazing stuff, keep it up!

I've watched all your videos, it looks so impressive! What graphics card do you have for this? I was surprised when I found out that you use ue4 for this, I have been using it for over a year)

This is amazing! Is this using Voxel Plugin, or is it a voxel renderer you've written yourself? Small voxels are always super cool but from my own experience I've found that it's super hard to balance memory usage and performance.

You are a very good builder, I wonder what you could create in games like Minecraft. The combat system I was unsure about at first but I see it works very well in the types of environments you have created. I think you could get away with NPCs but I would discourage making proper RPG-style NPCs. Too many Voxel games that were admittedly doomed to be mineclones lost their vision to mismanaged NPCs.

the art style is absolutely amazing i just think it needs some polishing and maybe make it so it doesnt feel like ur walking on a very bumpy road all the time while maintaining the looks also make it feel less clunky

Will this game have VR support? because if you add that, it would be one of the better VR voxel games, with ancient dungeon being your only competitor. if you're wondering how this game could even have VR support, I could give you some menu and design concepts

What technique are you using to render this? Is it raytraced or are you creating a mesh out of the voxels? Looks beautiful regardless.

He uses the Unreal Voxel Plugin, so whatever method that uses. I think it's rasterized meshes, and you can see the typical raster shadow mapping technique is used
