This is a series i did a few months ago, I normally put them into one completed video when im done with the series but i guess i forgot to do it with this one so here it is! if you have already heard this series, what did you think? Remember to like and share (if you want to)
Dude its so weird because I am a total stranger but I literally fall asleep to your voice every night... sounds weird but your vids are great for laying down at night.
@Chase Packman gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay... lol just kidding bro, this dudes content is awesome for creating a sense of peace and helping to chill or wind down at the end of a long day.
Being a diver, as creepy as these stories are, and as unknown as bodies of water can be, I never feel scared in the abyss, but for some reason I still run up the stairs when I turn the lights off. That's narcosis for ya
this brought back old memories. On the rez there’s a watering hole (little water translated) thats really deep, people would bring their sheep and animals to during the summer. And on really hot days the kids would go and swim. Theres a myth about the watering hole, about hands at the bottom and if you swim to close they’ll grab you pulling you to the bottom. Weird thing is a lot of animals would drown there and from what i’ve heard from others a lot have drowned at little water. Just brought back a lot of memories of the watering hole listening to this.
There was thisbother story I read about somone going down a river and then turned off into a side creek and apparently there were hands at the bottom aswell
It is so refreshing to stumble across a channel with a talented narrator. So many of them sound robotic, cheesy, or over the top spooky. This is perfect!
@@Itsachapel Ocean pastas are all the rage right now! To get my top 10, search ocean or sea or diver pasta. The channels I know of are Natures Temper, Mrcreepypasta, Creepymcpasta, The Dark Sominium, Dr Creepen and.. for the rest itll be robot voices reddit videos.
@@jasong9492 it kinda started me on my ocean pasta trip when it came out and fortunately, the last 30 days every decent narrirator has done ocean pastas.
This story actually spooked the hell out of me. I love all your stories but they are usually more philosophical and fantasy sounding than scary which is completely fine cause I’m a paranoid scaredy cat and I enjoy them. This and Stolen tongues made me pause the video and look around myself multiple times- I was on edge the whole story- Amazing job as always!
Stolen tongues was the one that spooked me the most ,but i enjoy underwater stories more , especially in the ocean, a deep and vast body of water that is yet to be fully explored
Ok, this is gotta be my favorite creepypasta creature It doesn't seem malicious, just hungry, like a regular predator. But it's ANCIENT, it's the nature itself! Also I have a thing for powerful beings sitting in one place for millenia, and this scratches it nicely
OMG pls do more deep sea horror stories. Its awesome bc the ocean is a mystery and I could picture the story actually being real. That was an awesome and scary read.
this is ranked as second favorite in my list I've only fully listened to four stories 1 How to survive in hell 2 I've been a search and rescue diver for 12 years 3 I'm an aquarium employee, I've discovered a secret passageway in the dark 4 On the first of every month, a road appears by my house
I first listened to 'i was dead for 6 minutes and saw heaven', thought it was pretty good so checked the comments and the first one i saw was something like 'just watched how to survive in hell, id still rather go to heaven' so i had to check it out, its amazing, ive been binge watching/listening for the last few days
@Persist where are you? I was just going to bed 12 hours ago, some I'm guessing you're halfway around the world somewhere.... Either that or you wake up waaaaaay too early 😋
@@xecrald just because that’s the normal point of view from the meme it doesn’t always have to be like that it could of been him asking was I a good narrator? But I mean I guess sure.
was there ever an end to those stories or was it just a bunch of stories with no correlation except for the search and rescue employee sidenote: was the same person behind the story of this video, because both dive into the world of folklore without mentioning folklore every 5 minutes, which is the right way to do folklore in horror
Man, I gotta thank you so much. I picked up programming, and I dont think id make it through the night if it wasnt for your hour long high quality videos. Music doesnt keep me focused, you do. I love you so much
The Moss King: *Giant primordial force of nature who plans to devour me.* Me: *a depressed monster lover with a thing for vore.* I see this as an absolute win.
This story hits home when I was diving one time I came across a body then I had to help the police get the body into the bag because they're diver was like 6 hours away and it was a highly public area for swimmers so that's what I learned you put the bag on the body before you move it or pull it out of the water
As if I’m not already scared of the water.😨 your stories are amazing, Dark. You add such fear into them with the sound effects. I’ve never been so scared when I listened to Ted the caver you narrated with the creepy voices and music you added in at the end. thanks for making my thalassophobia flare up again.
I love this author! He is a great short story writer of this genre.. This particular story was one that freaked me out beyond belief when I first read it.. Holy cow.. To hear it narrated, however, made it that much more horrific.. *shivers* great job!
Knowing theres others like him, I wish we had stories of these other things. A fire now residing near a volcano, one of water maybe as a twist in a city that used to be beside a big lake, so on and so on. Could be cool but could also maybe be better just as this
I loved dis story....... 1 suggestion tho..... I think u should do another story about king moss or an continuation. Thanx for the good content stay safe out there!
I used to listen to scary stories to go to sleep but, yours are different not only do I enjoy your voice, but the stories too. One of my favorites is the bartender who trades stories for drinks.
Hi, I doubt you'll reply or like this messege but I absolutely love your content and am surprised you dont have a million subs!! I love falling asleep to horror stories yet when I listen to yours... I genuinely feel terrified and entrapped in your stories! I love it! It used to be hard to scare me but ever since I discovered you I've been able to get spooked so much easier and I end up listening to your stories without sleeping just because your editing and narration is so amazing I become intrigued and wanna see where it leads!
They all sound identical too other than (what sounds like recreated) accents i wonder if it’s the same person bc theres like 5 account that all have similarities and all have the same story format just an idea🤷♂️
Oh yes! Just found you and I'm thrilled - despite the number of people reading creepypastas and/or true crime on YT, there are very few whose voice I enjoy. It's been Lazy Masquerade up until now! Great job!
In an area that I lived there was a lake with creepy urban legends. On was that a little boy who drowned there lures children into the lake and attempts to drown them. One of the others is that you can sometimes feel a hand or finger stroking the bottom of your feet and I’ve experienced that, what’s important to note is that there are no fish in the lake and no large plant life
I hoped he killed the other pact members before he killed himself. Also, I'm pretty sure this takes place in either OR or WA, so king moss's reach is probably limited by the Nevada desert. Meaning in order to kill it, you'll need to dry it up.
Hey there! I'm not sure how I missed your channel for so long. Your narrations are great. Can I recommend a story/writer? I can think of several of this particular author's stories that would go so well with your channel (I searched his reddit username and your channel name here on YT and found nothing). I'll send over an email with his stories, if that's okay.
👏 😮 👏 WOW BRILLANT STORY, I was on the edge of my 🛌 bed, Since I listen to these stories everynight be it Otis, Hill or whom ever I listen to, I've decided to start Commenting an giving my own Star 🌟 rating, I have to give this a 5 🌟 rating. I highly recommend it. FrancesMarie Ireland.
I'm gonna buy your jacket to support my favorite most ephemeral narrator, God bless you for your efficacious story telling. Always elicits such vivid dreaming from me~
As someone who has an intense irrational fear of seaweed, i always described it as an irrational fear of thinking it’s gonna grab me and pull me under. This represents it so well
The best thing about you is I didn’t realize that I had heard this story narrated by someone else before until about 5 minutes in because I was enjoying it so much, and I’m absolutely going to finish the story to see how your narration differs
Hm, thats a good question. Why didnt he think about it in time? I mean, he would have a light on his suit. And... Why did he drown. In a diving suit. He surely had a knife. He could have gotten outta there...
He never drowned. He was killed by the 2 senior drivers by being strangled. Then they made it look like he drowned. It was explained in the cave by moose.
