it's crazy bc for me I just lost my ability to disassociate. i went through serious heartbreak and its like it jump started me into having to deal with shit straight up now, no more just me and my brain . how i used to be able to go into my head and pick one of the fiddyleven universes I created and stay there for HOURS ??? can't do that no more like damn. i can't even lie it was maaad scary because it kind of felt like it was my first time experiencing the real world fully at 22 years old. but now i realize that i spent all my life creating all those alternate realities as my little safe havens, now it's time to create my real life safe haven in the flesh

During my breakup it was crazy because you were going through yours and so a lot of what you were saying I could relate to and definitely helped in my healing process. I got to a point where I felt every woman and man I came across was karmic but then I prayed for the man that’s for me and 8 months later he approached me. I prayed even after meeting him but who has time to keep reintroducing themselves to someone new. I know at least it happened to me. I found myself an excellent black women therapist to work through it. Trust yourself and your instincts over everything. Not saying this happened to you, but sometimes, when we experience narcissistic abuse, it makes us question our reality because that person made us question ourselves.
