Your channel is one of the few that is actually worth watching :-) Thoughtful, introspective and always interesting :-) each one feels like a philosophy essay :-)
I was a little bit afraid to watch this video. My Mum was diagnosed diagnosed with Alzheimer's a year and a half ago. She's in the early stages yet, and it hurts me that some day, she won't remember who I am. But like Violetta, my mum is a very happy person, always smiling and laughing. I've been afraid to imagine what will happen to her as her disease progresses. But this video was so lovely, and so positive without that toxic element that "positivity" can sometimes take on. I think that I'll come back to it often in the future, when I'm scared for my mum, and need desperately to remember that she really just needs to be loved. Thank you so very much for sharing this. All the best! ❤
I discovered your channel today when I was searching for a video about workaway experiences. All of your videos is amazing and unbelievable but your videos with Viola…are definitely my favorite...Your kindness is rare and your smile is instructive for all of us. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Are you still working there?
A beautiful video created with love. My mother also had Alzheimer's and I was her primary caretaker. It was a challenge but I grew to appreciate it as a privilege. I even wrote a play about it. Thank you for your kindness and compassion... Cheers!
My mother had Alzheimer too and I was her primary caregiver. They need all the love possible. It's a very sad illness. Diane is doing a great job with this lady.
@@Annaconda1984 yes, at both the Rogue Festival as well as at the Indy Fringe. it is a tough play to market though... the moment the word "dementia" is used in the PR they stay away in droves. hahaha! this recording is from the Rogue Festival. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--EnRb3XtWxs.html
I love your caring heart and Viola too. I watch this video twice. I am also a caregiver and I am presently taking care of the Mentally ill. Continue doing what you do because only special people can do this. Not many people exist like you. I do youtube videos and I can see you put plans in this video. Keep doing what you do. Dementia is a sucker!!
It was hard to have my Grandma go through the progressive stages of Alzheimer's. It was hard having her slowly forget who I am. There's much of what you said that is the same with my 103 year old grandma. This work you are doing is truly inspiring 😊
@@dianawanderlustthank you...even if she doesn't remember the recent episodes, you helped me remember I can still cherish the memories we do have. 😊 Gracias para la Esperanza. mi abuela... Still Paz
Wow Diana wow wow I am simply lost for words. This was such a beautiful video and you are such a beautiful human being. This put tears in my eyes and I felt with every meticulously arranged shot the emotions you wanted to convey. Bravo! 👏🏼
This is incredibly sweet abd moving. You have such a big heart and a creative eye. Thank you for documenting this! It's uplifting to see both of your smiles and her joy in what I'm sure is a tough situation.
Diana you have such a good heart. Thank goodness for people like you. You make the world a brighter place. I very much enjoyed this video. Life is painful but you always seem to turn it around to the positive.
Outstanding ! I agree with someone here in the comments that said that you should present this short film in some festival. I believe it would do great.
Thank you very much for your videos. It's so heartwarming and intelligent. When I am allowed to have a wish . make a movie in your expression about your country Georgia.
