Don’t trust these tips because everyone has different driving positions (how close you sit to the steering wheel) also, every car has different dimensions (wheelbase etc etc)
Yup, and its kinda what the uploader is saying anyways. For your own vehicle, try to find spots that line up with the tires on your dashboard. Worked for the truck in my CDL class.
I just apply my racing nature to real life driving, keeps the braking efficiently, knowing the limit, forces other people to back off more. My favorite thing to do is lightly brake so the brake lights come on but I'm not slowing down fast at all it forces the other driver behind me to not ride my ass.
@in India You buy a car to get scratched. We're so much in population, the probability of getting scratched while in parking , or in traffic is pretty high. Also we Indians don't give a shite about each other.... Especially the SUV owners .....those are focking CVNTS.
Some of these don’t work nor make practical sense … for example never park inches away from the bumper of another vehicle because if another vehicle comes up behind you and park inches away from your rear bumper you are going to have a very difficult time to get out of that tight spot…. Always give yourself room ….Nam Jamaica
I've driven for a lot longer than 10 years and Have not wrecked just one car. I've been involved in more than one wreck or accident but none of them have been my fault. Except I got into a position where I cannot get out of their way! You are very wise beyond your years. Your use of geometry is very interesting. All of your videos have been very interesting the I've watched. Please do not take it wrong. But they are very entertaining because they are dubbed over in English. I can remember the kid watching some old Japanese cartoons and a couple of movies and they were dubbed over in English. Regardless of your nationality or ancestry you have made me think about those memories and how much I enjoyed that when I was a kid. So thank you. I mean these things as a compliment. Over all your ideas are based on simple principles that are often overlooked. I think anyone who watches your videos enough of them will come away thinking about the same way as me. Forever and informative subject matter.
Well, your comment makes it pretty obvious who's probably never driven a vehicle in his life before or driven in high traffic. You can be a good driver and still be forced into situations where you have no control, but to get wrecked.@@Colin_Lawlor_Audio
@@JS-br7bo Dang, I never knew talking about a lot of things on a public discussion page means I love hearing myself talk. Thank you for that wonderful insight. I think you also like hearing yourself talk to make such a short and unnecessary comment on something that has nothing to do with you. Great way to show off your sense of superiority!
You gain driving experience by driving hours with diferente traffic and weather conditions, you need to get use to your car know the width and length by instinct to be able to park or do anything period, use all your mirrors...
It's ok to have some reference points, I get it. but you will always have to determine them on your own. they will vary heavily from person to person, car to car.
These brothers and sisters are teaching the world how to drive this VW. If you have the same model you are lucky...😅 Others pls take this tips and translate it to your car by experimenting.
I've had my driver's license since i was 16 , I'm about to turn 50 in just a few months, I've never had a wreck either, hell I've never even gotten a ticket, well not a moving violation anyway, I've gotten a parking ticket a couple times, but never had a point on my license in all these years..
I wonder how many of the people crashed their car after trying tip from this video. Different people has different driving position, height and different car has different front boot and wheel position. U can’t keep the fixed point. It only come with how much u drive on each particular car
dude this just content not all car got the same rim inch and dimension what if the car got crashed use this theory? Are u going to say to ur insurance 'i follow a youtube trick on how to drive' ☠️☠️.
Its funny but as soon as the geometry of any piece of the car is different it doesnt work anymore. Or more clearly i have driven renault 5, 11, lincoln town car ( still have it) ford fiesta , hyundai pony , ford focus , vw jetta5 , golf plus, saab 900 old and new , primera p10 and p144, and now a Subaru impreza . Never crashed in over 30 years and always know exactly where my car is located in space without any chalk. All those cars geometry is so different that it will perhaps work with one or two, lincoln for example you still see the hood and a pillar is quite back if i use that technique the crash is preprogrammed
Refg: comment by cheritm, posted a yr ago in comments, Horse Curtain which I understands is limiting the vision to see from corner of your eyes. The term may be taken or used for the face belt with covers for horse eyes, might have seen on horses used in buggies/cart/tonga/chariots & army horses to stay focussed, undisturbed in battle field by side way vision. Asian driver hits car in front of him showing off amazing driving skills... Don't follow RU-vid for driving skills people. Claiming to not crash in ten years is not a credential....
Please don't use this for reference if your car/seat positioning/steering wheel positioning/mirror angle/height/width/many more variables are not identical to his.
That don't mean squat: When your insurance cancels your coverage because you haven't been in an accident because statistically driving 1,000,000 miles is impossible without getting into an accident which forces you to lie about how much you drive just to have insurance... Then you have something to brag about.
This seems cool but careless. I can’t imagine how many people watched this video then bumped another car in the parking lot while thinking they had enough room.
