I’m excited and also nervous about having two babies to care for but your video made me feel better realizing your babies are so close in age. Now I’m kind of thinking about it as having to deal with pregnancy and childbirth once instead of twice
Hi :) I'm also pregnant (13w) and I wanted to reassure you that at first it can be hard but later you will thank for two babies in the same age. I have twin sister and we have conection that none of our friends can understand. Twin is not like any brother or sister. He/she is a very special gift for life :D Always loving and supporting. My first pregnancy was twins! Then I got pregnant with 1 baby when my twins were 13 mos old. Twins are ROUGH. Yes you don’t have 2 different pregnancies, but 2 newborns is a whole different experience! The thing is…. Watching their twin bond form is unlike anything else. It’s magical. Mine are 2, almost 3 and it’s just so fun now!
I babysat 8 kids (18 months-13 yrs) for 3 days and the youngest babies were twin girls. It was easier than I thought, ofc bc I had the older siblings to help when I really needed it. Yet it was amazing and fun, but twice the work. While it is overwhelming especially as these are your first, don't let stress get you down, and accept help because it makes it so much simpler. And remember that your suffering will bring blessings!
Wow Caitlin! Congratulations 💕 We are both pregnant at the exact same time (I'm currently 23 weeks + 1 day). I'm due on the 9th of Jan and may possibly have pre-term due to Gestational Diabetes. I also experienced a subchorionic haematoma and heavy bleeding. Mine was only very small and thankfully healed up pretty quickly from when it started around 5 weeks. I too had pelvic rest and stopped exercising, oh and the endless research haha I can relate to that. I can also relate to the emotional roller-coaster. We hadn't planned this baby, but we found out at 4 weeks and honestly we're so happy about it. But to then deal with emotions of possibly losing our baby, it was a lot. And throughout all of this, I had only recently found the Lord and had no idea how to lean on him during hard times. It was just such a crazy experience. Caitlin, thank you for sharing your experience and how you leant on the Lord. Your church and family seems really wonderful. I'm so happy you had them to support you. I will be thinking of you and praying for you! PS. I'm having a little girl. And it's our first baby! She is also perfectly healthy with no issues. What a blessing we are experiencing. I just had my son back in June after having my daughter last May! They are 12.5 months apart but I’m claiming the Irish twins title! Congratulations! You will love it! Stressful but it is so so so worth it! My daughter is such a little mom to her brother since we brought him home!
What a wonderful surprise! Going from one baby to two is chaos, but it’s also super fun and very rewarding! Plus, when you add a third child, it’s like, “Eh, what’s one more?!”Congratulations on your new little one! My boys are only 18 months apart and they are the best of friends (15 and 16 years old).

My grandparents had four boys in five years! One thing my dad and uncles still talk about in their 60s is the one-on-one days they each had with their dad, my grandpa. Grandpa wanted to make sure they all had individual time since they were all so close in age. He would do whatever they wanted to do that day, just him and one son. I always thought that was so special and kind of my grandpa to give his undivided attention to each son on a weekend day. Congratulations, what a blessing! 😀
And I have a friend who has 2 kids in one year! She has 4 kids in 8 years and it’s crazy some times but we still go out with out our kids sometimes to enjoy a capucino😂 Sooooo you’ll be fine sister 🤗
Congratulations! My brother is 13 months younger than me and we were so close as children, and then our three youngest siblings followed closely after. We loved being close in age and my mom says she loved it too!

My friend's mom tells a story holding her tiny firstborn while looking at a positive pregnancy test and sobbing....lol. Definitely unexpected but having two girls so close together ended up with two sisters who are super close and I was always so jealous I didn't have any sisters and couldn't have a relationship like that.
Yes! It’s probably good that I didn’t find out until I was so far along because Bodie was sleeping through the night by that point and thankfully I didn’t FEEL pregnant. I really hope that they turn out to have a close relationship like the one you describe 🥰 sounds so sweet. I was always slightly envious of girls with close in age sisters too!

I knew it! 😅 I gave birth to 3 children in 22 months! Fraternal twins and then got pregnant with 1 baby when they were 13 mos old. It’s completely chaos all the time but I love how close they are in age. Now the boy twins are 2 and my daughter is 1
It will be difficult at first, but it is good to have your children close in age. That way they grow up together and have eachother to lean on. Good for you girlie!!

I just want to say I'm so sorry for the scare you had in your pregnancy, I also had implantation bleeding and I was horrified, it felt like such a painful position to be in but my hematoma healed and my baby is due February!!! Congrations!

So happy for you! I had 3 babies in 18 months (daughter first then twin boys). It was a crazy couple years but I am so thankful it worked out that way. All 3 of mine are such good friends now (they are 7, 6, and 6). God also used this time to draw me closer to Him and rely on His strength. You will do great ❤️

We had a big gap between our kids and it was really hard on our eldest. Eldest had four years of just the three of us and then suddenly there was a sibling to share time and love with and it hurt. Bodi will never know what that is like, your family will always have been all four of you for his whole life, which I think is a very happy thing. How happy and surprised was your family?😆 Also, if you're interested, there's a Christian family on RU-vid who just had preemie twins because her placenta abrupted and they're vlogging about it. Oooo thank you for the recommendation!! The family was shocked, mostly because all of them only found out I was pregnant because of my ER visit 😳😳 it’s nice hearing a perspective on a larger age gap. To be honest, being pregnant is great for me. I love it. And I’m not worried about giving birth again, or the sleepless nights ahead for the newborn stage… the only thing that I fear is disrupting Bodie’s life and causing him trouble or unhappiness because this happened so soon. But he won’t remember the drama of introducing a new baby, which is probably a good thing!!
I am 23 weeks pregnant as well, due around the same time! I also had a miscarriage scare at about 11 weeks along. I can really relate to what you were saying about not wanting to loose that particular baby. It's not just about pregnancy, it's about the individual you are carrying! I’m so happy for you! For me I didn’t ovulate for a year after two of my sons. Which was nice having no periods. I’m very regular but breastfeeding was somewhat birth control for us. With my middle son though my periods returned after 3 months from birth. What a blessing though!

Congratulations! How wonderful 🤗 I also had a subchorionic hematoma with my second daughter (4 years after my first pregnancy) and my little miracle is now 4 years old! After the hematoma healed (I was put on bed rest by my doctor) I had no further complications and went on to have another all natural birth, a few days past my due date. ♥ I'm so happy for you and your husband!
Congratulations! And glad the baby is healthy. I had my three boys in two and a half years. My first was barely walking when the second came. It’s been so fun watching their friendship grow, especially now as they are young adults.

Congratulations Caitlin! Technically pregnancy counting starts at the beginning of the cycle you got pregnant. So you back count two weeks from ovulation/conception.

I am so incredibly happy for you Caitlin. I am watching this while grieving my baby girl who I gave birth to this last Sunday. I went in for my 20 week ultrasound and there was no heartbeat. There was a blood clot on her umbilical cord. I pray for all the pregnant mommas out there that they will never experience this devastating pain.. and I also pray for my rainbow baby. Hi there. I had a hematoma with my 5th baby. My midwife told me to take vitamin C. And to really take it easy for a month or so. 4 weeks later it was gone. The Ultrasound tech said I had ovulated from both ovaries so likely what happened is I had twins but one had passed away. My midwife agreed. That is exactly what I felt happened. Just saying this to encourage you 🙏
24:34 wait do some people actually have a issue with a woman having two kids close in age? that is so odd to me. my sister and I are 15 months apart, and I couldn't feel more lucky to have her! people who are raising any eyebrows over that have a problem.
I see the Lord’s plan here as you showing women how to advocate for themselves. If something your doctor says doesn’t feel right, do your own research. So many studies are publicly available now. It’s not listening to randos on the internet - it’s educating and empowering yourself to understand what has and is happening to you and standing up for yourself. It’s so beautiful.

Caitlin! Finally getting around to watching this and am so happy you and baby are ok! I had several miscarriages and two tubal pregnancies, 1 of those 2 happened on Christmas Eve and I thought I was never going to have more kids and my entire family missed me on Christmas day because I was in the hospital. But I ended up having more babies later and things ended up working out ok. I really appreciate you opening up about this! I never had anyone to support me back in those days and there definitely wasn't RU-vid so I am SO grateful for this day and age where we can all share our experiences. Losing a baby is so challenging and I am so grateful that the Lord is blessing you with your second baby right now. I hope you never feel bad about announcing a pregnancy being so close EVER again because everything happens for a reason and this is what is meant for you and your family! I’ve supported Doula Clients who’ve experienced the same exact thing with subchorionic hematomas and it deff is a stressful situation! So thank you for sharing your story so more people can learn! Yes! We were going to probably start trying 9 months after Bodie was born anyways, so even though it’s closer than we expected, it truly is not the end of the world. Im praying that Bodie will adapt and enjoy his brother :)
Hi! I love your channel. I just wanted to share something. I took a supplement to help my reproductive system. It’s called Maca. It helped me to have two babies easily. I had signs of PCOS early on in life but after taking this supplement I had my cycle on time every month and therefore got pregnant easily. I even took it while pregnant to keep me strong.
