Vlog 91-Travels In My Chair. I've been off Ozempic for one year. Now what? Did I gain or lose? I'm still having trouble eating certain foods and although I would love a glass of wine, I simply don't enjoy it so why bother? Have you had trouble with Ozempic agreeing with you? What did you do? I hung in for a year but that was probably six months too long.

I too am in a wheelchair, MS Warrior here, and I also take Ozempic. It helps but I still have to watch what I eat and exercise. Much love to you.

It was only recently that I began hearing from several celebrities who were discussing the side effects--which seem pretty daunting. Glad you are off it ... and glad that your weight is holding steady.

Yes, here in USA ozempic is $1600.00 and insurance doesn't cover it unless we are diabetic. I got on a similar drug called victoza for $28. First starting with a daily dose of 0.6, then second week 1.2, then moving to the last dose 1.8. I noticed a lot of weakness& muscle fatigue so i started at the gym 3 times a week, also noticed it was getting harder to go poop.I hope you continue to make good progress on your weight loss❤

I still can't drink wine and I don't like cake. I do, however enjoy candy (bad bad). Still haven't gained the weight back and my A1C (blood sugars) are 6.5. All is good but my friend can't even get Ozempic in Canada and she is Diabetic and has lost weight with no side effects. I still think it is a scary drug. Thanks for watching Amanda. All the best.

You are delightful. I am on Mounjaro which is like Ozempic. I’ve lost 65 pds with occasional nausea only. Overall I feel better on this med. I’m on it for weight loss (not diabetic) by my doctor. I have orthopedic problems and terrible neuropathy in my lower extremities. I need to weigh less because I have trouble walking or standing for very long. Like you my goal is to stay 130-140 pds more so to get around than vanity lol.

Three years ago "they" didn't know. Ozempic was for type 2 diabetics NOT celebrity weight loss. Then it became the thing and now the diabetic community can't get the drug.

33 percent of people who use these drugs and lose weight WILL KEEP IT OFF -- once they make the lifestyle changes (diet and exercise) that they need to make. Just FYI
