As someone who is definitely a "planner"... I completely understand 😅 Im looking forward to the ending of B.G. Season 1! I can hear the joy in your voice talking about the new short story collection... and based on how much I liked Dishonored in Death... REALLY looking forward to reading those 🥰

This made me smile, thank you for always being so supportive. I'm definitely super excited about Tales Of The Limitless City. It's a challenge for sure but also incredibly fun. I have a feeling you may get a kick out of The Necroid... It's got some horror elements to it that I'm very proud of. I can't wait for the day I get to share the collection with everyone, even if that does feel like a million lightyears away right now.

That stinks about the crashing and incorrect reading on your talkback app. Your process definitely shows your dedication, but yeah - it sounds really difficult. But I'm glad that you've been sharing your work. I'm so excited for you and for what 2024 holds for your writing, especially the Bleeding Ground season 1 finale and your plans for season 2! and Tales of the Limitless City sounds so cool!! And I'm intrigued about the Baldur's Gate connection to your writing - that's in part why I started exploring more about DnD! Now I just have to just get writing...... one of these days..... I like what you said about lowing the pressure on one's self - i need to remember that too. such a tough balance! Hey but we made it through Christmas and its music - lol

Hey buddy, it's so good to hear from you! Yeah, it can be really difficult at times but it's just the way it is. More than anything, the reason I talked about it was to let people in on my process a bit more. I feel like sometimes I forget to illustrate problems with my blindness because they're so mundane to me, but everyone else might find them interesting. It makes me so happy that you're looking forward to the TBG finale, although it's coming along fairly slowly because I want to get it right. Tales Of The Limitless City is just my imagination getting to run wild and free and I'm absolutely buzzing to eventually share it with everyone. Baldor's Gate is addictive. We've been no-lifing it for the last month. There's so much to it and, just like you said, it's really sparked an interest in the wider D&D world. I feel like there's so much to the game that I'm never going to be able to stop playing, what wit the possible variations. At least it'll keep me busy until Red Dead 3 comes out :') Thanks ever so much for stopping by my friend. I hope you're doing great 💚

Sounds like a fun year to me. I love hearing how so many writers are moving toward less stress, and focusing on getting excited about telling stories!

I might be a minority here, but I don’t mind the time gaps at all… I just go listen to the previous couple parts again, shucks darn… what I mean is fans don’t mind how much time you take. What I DO mind (not that you need to care what strangers on the internet think, obviously) is you stressing yourself out so I’m thrilled to hear your plan to address that and I hope it works for you. I’m super jazzed for your projects and goals and am looking forward to cheering you on! 🎉

I'm glad you feel that way. To be honest, the staggered releases isn't the only driving force behind the hiatus. I really want to get the story straight so I know what I'm doing going forward and I think the time to plan will do me the world of good. Plus, I actually really like the idea of trying to run TBG in the way TVshows are handled. I think of it as an Authortube Original series and I like the idea of having multiple seasons rather than books, if that makes sense? As for being excited about the projects: I have a feeling you'll probably get a kick out of Tales Of The Limitless City. I think you'll probably enjoy what I'm doing with the world building, especially because of all the pantheon related stuff. I can't wait to get it all finished and share it with everyone. Thank you for all the support, it's super encouraging.

Wow the process sounds quite difficult at times but it sounds like you’re a pro at it. Looking forward to all your upcoming projects!! Sounds very exciting. Your colorful descriptions are the gold standard !!! I would NEVER skip over them !!! 😉

Ah, you're far too kind. I don't know if I'd call myself a pro yet but prctice makes perfect and I'm improving all the time. Like I say, it's difficult but I love it. I'm honoured that you love my descriptions so much, I assure you that one day the unicorn will be a thing. I could never not write it now.

👋👋👋👋👋 Hello, I have been meaning to get back in touch. I have missed you. I have been rubbish with comments and watching - i blame the algorithm for not showing me your videos and myself for not being arsed to search. I cannot recall which video it was but several months ago you commented on a video of mine. It made me so happy and i meant to reply telling you...but, as we know you leave enormous thought trains and i am a comment fairy with chat diaerrhoea, so its never a quick comment and then crack on with life. Oh no it's a make a brew sit down prepare for an essey situation. Which never happened and then it got buried down my feed and never did! - shame, shame 🔔🔔 Anyway I found your channel again. Hooray🎉 - not a hard task, sorry for being a rubbish friend. Going to shout at my children and then will be back to watch and over next few months catch up on your backlog. Oh and also sorry I read Hunger of the Gods - without you Eeek 😳🙈😬 - it was amazing! But if you decide to read it you'll have to work out some way of tabbing the chatacter list. It does have a Synopsis of bk 1 and chatacter list. But i was constantly referring back to it, to work out who everyone was. 5 POV - but so good 😂 Anyway - my 2024 plan is to not loose touch with 3 specific people i abandoned in 2023 - you being the first 🥂🎉 Hope you have had a good 'un 💜📚

Hey buddy! It's absolutely lovely to hear from you 💙 It's been too long. There's absolutely no need to apologise -- you're not the only one responsible for our lack of contact. Last year was a whirlwind of activity that just consumed me. Between my freelance work, writing, recording and generally living life, I was terrible at maintaining social contact. I'm ever so glad you reached out though as I've missed our back and forths. Totally don't blame you for reaading HOG without me... I still feel bad for letting you down when it came to our buddy read. Some personal stuff kicked off at the time and I just totally flaked on you. I'm happy you enjoyed it though. Five POV's? Bloody hell, that's insane. There's no way I'd be able to keep all that straight, especially without a full cast recording. Oh well, I'll get to it one day.
