I do miss these hour long episodes, fully appreciate the content guys! Big shout out to stevie on the block work, I still remember you laying your first ever block now look how far youve come 💯💪🏾 Dave, you're gonna need a bigger yard now with that digger... but I think the crusher bucket would be a good idea to add on!
Awesome. I love to see the investment back in the company. What a cracking bit of kit. Stevie I think the blocks you have laid is the best job to date. Stay safe
Sorry about Bernie taking a fall. Hopefully she recovers quickly and fully. 🙏🏻 Poor Jordan. He has had a bit of bad luck with fires and cracks. But no one got hurt or damage to someone’s property. Just hurts Dave in the pockets. But that new equipment will help to make up for it in a jiffy. Man, when it gets all set up and running it will be Spectacular. Conveyer and all. Stevie, the block work is beautiful. Admire your patience and knowing when you might need advice. ❤ Just want to say when Jordan smiles I catch my breath. It lights up his whole face. 😊 No worries to the Mrs. I could be his Grandmother. 😂. Just appreciate beautiful moments.
Get better Bernie seriously good video, not just because of length. Liked how Steve wasn't afraid of taking blocks out starting again because believes in quality, 👍👍👍
Great block work stevie is doing on the resin patio job and its always best to wait and get advice if unsure on something, you can't be expected to know and remember everything 👍 That machine is a BEAST 😁🍻🫶 Wishing Bernie a speedy recovery with her shoulder injury.
Bernie, sorry to hear about your fall, hope you are feeling better. Stevie those blocks looked perfect to me, you have been taught well. Loving all the new machinery you are getting, its all go at D&J. Are we going to see any of Dave and Bernie's NC 500 trip? Best wishes Christine x
Dave there's nothing wrong with adding to the business. Wishing you the best of success with the new digger. Praying that you get a lot of business that you can use it on. Before long Stevie is going to be as good as you laying brick😊 Hopefully some day some of the lads will get to learn.
Wow well done lads I remember when you got little red and look how far you have come from then. Just goes to show what hard work and determination can do. Keep on getting on lads and you should be extremely proud of what you lads are achieving. Good things for good people 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Wow, over an hour long video and mostly yard work, and dare I say us viewer still probably not even seen a fraction of what's involved 'behind the scenes'. The JCB is going to be a huge help, and as time goes on you'll find more uses for it, sure some people in the comments will have good ideas. What Dave was saying about doing monthly team outings, maybe every two months, so all the team have hopefully enough time to make plans and go.
I've found automatic transmission fluid and acetone make for the best track lube when they're stuck. The tolerances are tight a little rust wreaks havoc. They'll lay down the more you use it.
Dave, Stevie and all the D&J Team. I came across your channel a few weeks ago and really like what you do and the people in your videos. I have now been watching your videos from #1 and have a complaint to make. I have lost far too much sleep binge watching your videos haha. Keep up the amazing work, it's great to see how your business has progressed in the last 3yrs, and hopefully it will only get bigger and better for you all. Thank you x
Awesome video 😃 Loving all the new machinery and accessories. Stevie looks and sounds like he's suffering from burnout - his usual chirpy banter seems to be taking a little more effort. I think he needs some time off and a little holiday ❤
What an episode -- too much to talk about -- first sympathies to Bernie, hope she isn't in too much pain. That new excavator makes short work of the waste bays, looks massive, but sure does get through it all. I was thinking that looks way too big, but seems ideal for that. Stevie smashing the blocks as always, I like that he says he's going to check with Dad for ideas. For me that shows a real awareness in that the final outcome is what is important. He knows he can do whatever he wants and it will be ok, but wants to just check with Dad in case there is a better way that will make the job just that little bit better. I always say, i'd rather a colleague who stops and questions than an arrogant one that just blunders on and has no awareness... awesome video. Sunday highlight as always.
Brilliant video Dave you are a brilliant inspiration to any small family business not frightened to spend money if it takes the business forward hope you wife’s on the mend & takes it easy no washing up for a few weeks over to you Dave lol 😂 well done to all at D&J 👏

Hi Dave,😊 I am going to suggest that you might want to think about additional lights on your machine for when it's working during the winter months. . If you have good lighting then you can work it for longer. . 🤔
Give welderfaber a call he give u some advice about JCB…..such an inspirational firm great set of lads….well done Dave bigger n better onwards and upwards respect 🤛
