Got to hear her sing this locally in person in the last years of her life, when she filled in last minute for an ailing Ella Fitzgerald. Her voice was still gorgeous, but unfortunately I assume bad dental work gave all her S sounds a 'SH' sound. Literally, she walked out, got a huge ovation, and went into this as her first song..."I got the world on a sh-tring, I'm shitting on a rainbow..." I have never forgotten that image.
