Imagine spending £1bn on transfers and finishing a whole season on -1 goal difference? And only scoring 5 more goals than the smallest team to ever grace the PL in Luton Town 😂😂
That’s what happens when you have core players and leaders on the team. City got rid of a ton of players in the past two years and still manages to win the league, that’s consistency and professionalism.
He actually did. He got injured against Spurs and then replaced himself for the West Ham game. I'm sure they have a few clones of each player stored in a lab in Abu Dhabi
Goldbridge, how can you be mad at pep for putting together a squad and winning? How can you be mad about how much he spends and how dominant city are? When man united were dominant and won 13 league titles, you were not complaining or saying its a farmers league...when Fergie broke the transfer record 5 times, your weren't complaining. When Fergie spent big money to bring in big stars, you were not complaining.... if inflation is taken into account, Fergie is the highest spending premier league manager in history, but no complaints about that...😂😂😂😂😂
He’s showing more and more he’s not a Man U fan, downplays city’s achievements, while praising and making a case for keeping eth, it’s like he doesn’t really want united to do well
The backbone of United’s success was the class of 92, it’s a little different. Arabchester City got taken over by a load of sandnigs and about two days later were buying players like Robinho
@charlie.bloomfld fergie was there longer! It's not just buying players, but the wages too! When city were first taken over, they pumped so much money into city before we had these regulations. Chelsea did the same thing.
Gvardiol was £77 million NOT £90 million Mark, or he would be the most expensive defender in the world, but your boi Maguire holds that title at £85 million 😂
The difference is Man City spent a lot of money ,some of it wisely ,.excluding the left back scenario .Man Utd bought expensive clowns , with no passion or fire. However Man City do need be charged next preseason for their 115 charges.
Klopp was the only one against all, and I mean ALL odds, who could challenge City. If it weren´t for Klopp, City would have had 7 in a row now, not 4. And now Klopp has left :(
And he has left precisely for being frustrated after realizing that it makes no sense to try to compete with City. Better sunbathing somewhere far from north England
Makes you laugh? Are you a kid or something. You know you could win 5 more trebles and still not beat any of the clubs you mentioned trophy count. A club fueled by money and no achievement. When you guys drop form it will be the biggest joke ever😂
City are inevitable. You can have nearly perfect season, but if you slip away, the title is gone. Liverpool twice, now Arsenal. 6 titles in 7 years. Premier League are becoming farmers league in terms of title fight
He had no intention of seeking players to city he just needed to sell players to find the stadium - city just happened to want his players and were willing to pay over market rates to get them
Mark, for someone who worked for the police it surprises me you find them guilty without it even being confirmed. If they are cleared of charges will you do a public apology?
united won 3 in a row 2 times, won the prem 6times in a 8year span, broke transfer record after transfer record, yet this is never spoken about, united fans are so self entilted its unbelievable
Yet United were winning trophies before and had a good name as the most decorated club in England. The money for good players and coaches is obvious. But City just got oil money and know they have sextuple Pep. Make it fair.
@@adamwallis3235he had been relegated that season with Arimina Bielefeld to the Bundesliga 2 and was out of contract. It would be like Inter Milan signing Wes Foderingham from Sheff United. As others have said he could have gone anywhere. His wages are 55k at City to put that into perspective Tom Heaton (yes he's still there) at United is on 62k per week and Ramsdale at Arsenal on 120k per week.
Leicester winning the league is more impressive than Man City winning it four in a row. Any football fan can't let the go the fact that they have 115 charges, the fact that Everton and Nott Forest were punished on the same year just makes the achievement meaningless.
@@godfather6734Your League Titles don't have value that's why the Premier League has ended but no one is talking about how brilliant the winners were.
Non man city fan here. Let it go little bro, envy is a really ugly thing. You will be saying 115 charges till your last breath like a moron. Any envious fan won't let go of the 115. Man city is just better, accept it. Guardiola changed that team, stop living in denial
@@planetebeautecali4485just because you didn’t see it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Talksport was talking about it most of the day. It’s still on RU-vid if you want to see it 😂😂
Before Pep came to the PL, it was all "Jose will finish him", "that tippy tappy football won't work here" etc. Now he has Utd fans acting like this haha
The problem started before Pep came to PL. You don't spend so much with empty stadium. It just doesn't make sense. And you can say whatever you want now but once they are charged for cheating you will disappear from internet that's the hypocrisy we live in today. Don't u have a little logical sense to see that it's just not possible to do what they have done even before pep came with empty stand.
@@eamonnfeeney1653 Yet here you are trying to cope 😂 love to see it 8Th in the league and more net spend then city in the last decade U shoud be emberassed to even comment
As a Liverpool fan I’d have much rather seen Arsenal win it. Obviously I can emphasise with coming second to these lot, and at what point do we decide enough is enough and winning the league 6/7 years is ridiculously boring.
Why not sit back and enjoy it while it lasts, because nothing lasts forever. I am certain that if it were Man Utd winning a fourth PL title 'Markie Goldbridge' would not be making these same claims.
@@theletsplayer4921no actually it isn’t even because United suck his exact words were he would rather anyone else but city to win the league never did he mention United obviously you want your team to do good but he isn’t wrong city are so boring because they don’t lose
It's really ironic because when Manchester United dominated the English Premier League, you certainly didn't say something like this that you were tired of domination
Give it a rest, Mark... Every year some club has pushed City to the limit. Last two years it's been Arsenal. Before that Liverpool. The league isn´t boring. There are plenty of good, exciting games during the whole year. I'm a Liverpool fan and I embrace City´s greatness and applaud them for it. Pep has developed the team into a juggernaut. Eventually someone will knock them off and it will be all the sweeter. Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs will be back again next year to give it a go. Villa and Newcastle will be there or there abouts.
As a City fan I applaud Liverpool back, I was telling my Dad earlier I would have been a lot less nervous today if it was liverpool rather than Arsenal because Liverpool have been a worthy rival the past few years I would have accepted losing the title to, Arsenal have had 2 decent seasons and have gotten to arrogant they don't know what it's like to be on our level in the 99/98 point season.
Why are you mentioning United? It's Arsenal and Liverpool who have missed out through the last few years. You're mentioning United because it's Mark and you have no actual comeback
Suspect fixture setup with City playing London rivals for last 2 games. It goes on and on, as if Spursy and West Ham care to push City when Arsenal could win the league for it. 115 charges deferred, what a joke of a league.
@@TheKingOfBeans it's not a fact though is it because we've had 8 different winners since 1990. And there's been teams what came close 2nd too. You've had 2 winners in the same period.
@@Writeous0neWhy are you going back over 30 years to prove your point? Completely different landscape back that far. No state owned teams back then. We are focusing on the past 7 seasons
I'm United fan, but why you about City spending and won it again and again. We, Chelsea, Arsenal spent lots of money 💰 but no way near them. Just admit it they spent their money well
My only thoughts as an Arsenal fan is how proud I am of this team. If you’d have told me 5 years ago that we would be putting ourselves in this kind of position, and putting in these kind of performances I would have never believed you. Arsene Wenger built this stadium, but Mikel Arteta turned the lights on.
@@ryanvanschalkwyk2158 is what someone would say when they want to try and be reductive about the clear progress another team has made, I know. Arsenal won 3 FA cups in 4 years in Wengers twilight, and none of those cups spurred Arsenal on to greater success in the league or the Champions league. I wouldn’t swap Arsenals progress over the last 3 years for an FA cup win.
115fc Didn’t win a trophy in centuries then suddenly won dozens after a takeover. Yet their fans claim it’s fair. Charges or not, their success was bought, not earned.
Let the smaller clubs suffer and big💰💰💵 rule. Who cares about history and morals. Let's buy our way to success fairly or unfairly, it doesn't matter!! More🏆🏆🏆in the cabinet.
To be fair, you have to take your hat off to City. They've become the dominant force in English football and all it took was completely ignoring the league's financial rules for a decade.
I've posted before....as a Liverpool supporter...that its unfair of the Premier League to leave the 115 charges unresolved for so long ...it's left Pep and the players with hollow victories...instead of the praise that they deserve !!
Can’t wait for the charges to be resolved ether way. The league hasn’t fell off, United fell off and Goldbridge can’t hack it. Wouldn’t hear a peep if it was the other way round
@@michaeljohn1978 Goldbridge isn't even his real name He's fake and really supports forest. He's from Nottingham. Everything about him is fake to make money off gullible rag united fans.
as an arsenal fan i didnt mind the title run in, what disappointed me was most of the fans of the other 18 clubs were all in favor to help city win the league even though they have something to play for, which i felt there was no chance. U cant win a league when 18 other teams want u to lose against a power house team in city, we were a meme team years back and all of a sudden within a few years we are the most hated team in the league lmao.
It comes down to the last game of the season, and yet City are dominant? Dominant would imply that they won easily. They didn't. They fought hard all the way and didn't give up. If Arsenal had won against Aston Villa, they would be champions now. City wouldn't have been able to stop them. But they slipped up and City didn't Even if City had drawn yesterday, Arsenal would have been champions. That is not dominance.
yes, everything they do is a problem. It would have been better if the premier league had never even announced the charges, because people hate seeing cheaters win. if the united squad that dominated were charged for financial cheating, people would've hated them as much too
But we didn’t dominate like this .. the year before we won the treble, Arsenal won the double … so be quiet .. and goldbridge is totally RIGHT! We don’t respect what you’re doing ..
I ain’t bitter Mark. It took, arguably , the best manager the league has seen managing the best squad ever assembled, arguably, to go on their best ever run of results to finish 2 points above us. At this point you just gotta say fair play.
People, like me, were saying that by introducing FFP, you would crystallize the current top teams, thereby preventing the possibility of anyone challenging Man City. Lo and behold, we were right. That's why Man City are dominating. So good job to everyone who wanted FFP 👍
As a Citizen I get you. Our success is down to Pep not our infrastructure or money. As soon as Pep leaves, we are not going to be this dominant. So i don't care what people say. I don't care what you say. I only want Pep at City for as long as possible.
As an Arsenal, it was incredibly weird to go into the final day just needing the other team to draw in order for us to win, but to feel like you've absolutely no chance of winning the league
To be fair the Prem has had one major team win year after year for a while now. Liverpool 1975-1989 Man United 1992-2012, now Man City. If the outcome is a reason it’s becoming the French league, then it has been for a while.
Thank you. Mate you’re hurting their feeling with facts. 🤣🤣 Liverpool and Man U won the most titles for YEARS. If it’s not Man United it’s Liverpool (now and then other teams will sneak a win). But it’s always Man United and Liverpool.
@@RRP6632 The other leagues ARE farmers leagues compared with the EPL. Which other league has two recent Champs League winners (Chelsea and Liverpool) that couldn't even qualify for this year because the league is so strong.
Why Pep deserves praise..? 1. None of these penalties are during Pep's era 2. There are clubs wo have spent way more money on players yet struggling for European places. So money isn't everything. 3. It is the premier League's incompetence that they are unable to prove things properly. 4. No fixed prices for Sponsorship and player values. 5. Even the FFP/ sustainability rules itself doesn't make any sense. It is for clubs which may go bankrupt due to poor management of finances. A club like man city isn't going to go bankrupt.
He won't be ofcourse..but the question is not about United or Chelsea or anyone.. It's about a team with 115 hanging over their head !!! How can anyone be impressed with that ?
@@KingJuliannnn it's already been proven back in 2018 with leaked files showing money was pushed in through the sponsors against FFP rules 🙂 that's why Uefa charged them in the first place, and reiterated that they are guilty despite what that stupid sports and arbitration court said...
Since the league is so devoid of integrity according to you, I hope you are also dismissive of every other club that has won the title over the years. Because again, the trophy is bestowed by the very same "compromised league".
@@Jacob56-xl4xo you mean you have the most charges by far, and that it's already been proven that you're guilty back in 2018... something Uefa reiterated a few months ago 🙂
115 FC should be stripped of all their titles and relegated to the bottom league. The integrity of this league is in the bin when the champions have 115 charges hanging over their head
Who remembers the days when United had all the money to buy the best players and win everything so to hear this from a United supporter is sooooooo funny. Not a city fan btw.
Goldbridge wasn't complaining when Utd were doing the EXACT SAME THING in the 90's. I am neutral... but you cannot have a double standard about these things. Utd were the 2nd richest club in the world for 2 decades... and won trophies because of it. Money ALWAYS wins in football... and it always will.
But the difference is that United were a proper club. They weren't manufactured, they weren't the property of a state. The made their own money. They had a history.
Man u were rich because they conducted smart - and in sone cases ground breaking - business in the background. They literally earned their richness the hard way. Man City got a series of cash injections from their richer-than-Richie-Rich owners and broke rules every steo of the way.
The analogy’s are crazy. Plain and simple if this was Manchester United winning four in a row. You’d be praising the officiating and singing praises for the league being the best in the world.
Not necessarily, if Manchester United were doing it then its fair game under the regulations. But if they were doing what City are doing, they'd have no respect from other fanbases so it'd be the same situation as City, just with a different club
Man United won 3 years in a row twice but I think the issue is more that they didn't have 115 financial breach charges against them from the premier league themselves.
Arent these ffp rules implemented from 2012 season, pretty sure man utd would've gotten a lot of bs if these rules existed when they were breaking all those transfer records.
