Roll it back pal, like you keep saying, there's not that long for this series, plus you'll be screwed waiting for another 3 or 4 episodes for something to grow.
This video tells me a lot about the type of content creator you are because a lot of creators would simply have covered up the green rye issue by simply resetting the field with easy development mod and re-recorded the episode also you could easily edit out the little incidents like hitting the John Deere and other stuff but you leave it all in for people to see it's not all plain sailing and perfect, this shows you have integrity and respect for yourself and your viewers which is one thing i love about you and the content you create, supporting you and your channel is a pleasure to be honest the amount i pay is not much compared to some things i subscribe to IE flix and amaz well you know what i'm getting at, i also know you use Epidemic Sound which i also use for my video's and thats now around £16 per month so if my contribution goes towards helping even with the music its all good, support your content creators it helps them create great content like this, as for the green rye as its new to you just reset the field and cut it :) love your content keep up the great work. ps voted to pretend it never happened
You say that these are the reasons why I also decided on monthly support. Unfortunately, there aren't many RU-vidrs like Daggerwin in German-speaking countries, which is why I think his videos are cool, even if they're in English and my English isn't the best.
I second everything that @andyh1 said. I have been watching your videos since FS17. I really like the way you play, nothing drags on and you are not afraid to screw up. (Driving off bridges, etc) I also enjoy your commentary and the fact there is never any doom and gloom. Other than a few “Oh No’s!!!” Your channels are fun to watch and I am always glad to see a video pop up in my feed. I voted to roll back time as FS should have some warning…..
You’re an awsome guy daggerwin. I love all of your video’s. You make me smile wen i’m sad and your have help me to a diffucult time. Live’s isn’t easy but your help me so much. I can’t explain howmany your helping me. Daggerwin I love you and go it on your way!❤
Has a constant shortage of silage. Then continues to fill up a neat cheap tmr mix with additional TMR. If you fill it with just under 3600 liter of straw, then add just over 2500 liter of silage then the rest can be hay you should have the cheapest TMR
Actually, the best way for fertilizer is: Harvest -> Fertilize -> Till (Plow or Cultivate) -> Drill + Fert or Drill then Fert. That way is is 100% fertilized before it ever germinates.
I voted "pretend that never happened" because the series will end soon and we were willing to see that big field of greenrye. It's series where money is hard to earn, and I love to see that vintage machinery on duty, and, well, I'd love to see one last vintage improvement before the release of 25. If this were realistic series, I'd rather vote "deal with it" but this is a "for funzies" series so... 😅 take care Daggerwin
Great episode. At 22:08 you can see that the health and productivity is at 100%. Hay says it's 80%, but it is enough to bring it to 100%. And get a water source. Filling that tanker was an eyesore to watch... 😉
The green rye is silly. With a forage harvester, you can silage chop any of the standard grain crops. I use the Field Queen forage harvester (yes, 3rd party site) on my Vintage series, and I love it.
as an alternate you can switch it to a regular rye crop still growing. in real life if you miss the silage cut stage you should still be able to cut it later as a grain.
Well, mistakes happen. If I were you, I would put aBessel und Lade shovel on the frotlader. They are available in the modhub. In my opinion, these are the nicest shovels for the FS. The pack is called Bressel and Lade Shovel Pack would recommend the L16 shovel with 2080l. I might also add a slurry extension for the winter.
I think a good wear and tear mod would be interesting! Driving down that dry river bed effecting the suspension or condition, maybe even enough damage causing the tractor not to start would add an immersive (though clearly aggravating) element to the survival play.
For the mower, if you do want a tractor pulled mower (too): The new released 'Opticut' mowers offer the option to remove the outside covers and then it looks not very modern. Maybe that's an option?
Expand fields. Buy fields #109 & #110 and then enlarge that area into 1 field or two smaller ones? Turn that drill riverbed into a track! Or can you get water from field #12?
I personally actually like seeing accidents or mistakes from time to time shows we are all human and makes it more realistic maybe not running over a tractor tho lmao. Keep up the great work
Plow it up put it as grass so when it comes to cut you will have more than enough in the silage pit. Also can you try and feed slurry to the apples it might accept it as fertilizer
install the Front Lifter mod off mod hub, it allows you to add a Standard Front Hydraulic Lift to any tractor, that can be added and removed by just detaching it as stored on a pallet when not in use, allowing you to have the front loader attachment permanently on the tractors and have front 3 point when required
Also, I think you should see if you can use hoses to run water to the apples along the dry creek bed. I think that would be interesting to see and something you haven't done before. If it can even happen. Pipes and hoses maybe?
i would normaly say you messed up and have to live with the consequences. but because this is a short lived series, for expediencey i say roll back the field to a harvestable state
Since its a REALLY strange time to have that crop wither (mid summer? Really?), roll it back! And I really do love that map...I'd been doing a Through the Years game there that ended up corrupting, and decided to do a new game now using modern equipment...but only Polish, German, and Eastern European brands. So, Ursus, Zetor, Rostelmash, Unia, etc...its making an interesting run.
Talking about a time crunch: Farmer's Dynasty 2 releases 1 week before fs25. You might want to purchase and then put into backlog or wait for sale. 1 week probably wouldn't be enough for a proper play
it would be fun to get a small vintage forage cutter, i know there is a Claas one that you attach to the tractor and i found a mod called "Orkan Z310/Z320". plant some corn and get a huge load into the silage pit
Be sure to have some new routines now, slurry spreading before cultivation and fertilizer or slurry immediately after sowing, that way it will be much easier to have 100% fertilized fields 😁😁
Roll it back daggerwin definitely going to agree with everyone here roll it back and save the green rye yes there is only weeks know until FS 25 I just can’t wait to see what map you choose on your first series in FS 25 it’s going to be amazing but at the same time I’m sad to see vintage survival series coming to a end know I’ve enjoyed this series it’s being amazing
Don't think about the field mistake to much. It's your mistake, you could have easily looked to the calender (again), as it is a crop you don't know. But it's also a bit silly from the game that is goes from 'optimal' to 'completely whithered' in one night. You seem to be rushing things a bit too much, also with the small incidents running into things like the classic JD and the apples. Don't blame the game for that, it's just you. We all make mistakes. Not a big deal and worry about, I mean no offence there. Pace down a little and have another look around or on the calender (etc) once in a while. The series is great, keep it up! We love you and also your playstyle, that's why we watch :)
Oh yeah, also make sure to check if you can plant something in the field with the green rye after you have mowed/harvested. If not, maybe put grass in it?
Hey Dag you should really consider getting the mod Addable Triggers. This map has so many place able that you can’t get rid of and there are silo options I believe. You could add a trigger to the side of your building near the honey spawn to store grain
I get excited when your videos drop on my lunch break. Getting to change the like from 0 to 1 is always a small thrill for me. I could regurgitate everything that has been said, but I'll simply add my name to the Daggerwin Army.
Roll back the time. Real crops don’t wither. Legumes will pop the seeds out of the pods and cereal might lose the grain heads. Withering as done in the game is unrealistic.
Hey were is your opinion on all the build projects that will be in FS25??? Im just curious, building a play ground, museum, carriage, restore a temple. Much like the rollercoaster in Silverrun. You know more than we do as giants briefs you I guess :) I see no one really talk about it. But saw it on the channel of Scroft.
Can’t you add extra trees to the apple orchard to get extra apple to sell. This way you can increase the apples sold and later you can get the juice production with the extra money earned
Plow it in, or at least penalize yourself, and only put it back on half the field. Call it a "act of god" like a hailed out crop, or damage from a plow wind.
I don’t think you should roll back time. Look at the crop calendar more regularly. Great video as always Daggerwin. Watch out for those tractors ;) lol
