The short cable is a low noise adapter.

That Noctua “short cable” is actually a speed reducer cable I think - has a built-in resistor.

It only limits upper RPM, it won't affect the overall PWM curve. Max RPM with the adapter is 1200, instead of 1500.

Hey Kyle, why don’t you get one of those 140mm sized magnetic dust filters from Cooler Master to put on the fan of the PSU to prevent dust buildup inside?

Not really an issue. PSU fan doesn't run unless there is enough load on it. I got a PSU like this one, when I go to dust out my computer it's the one thing with the least amount of dust.

I was thinking the same thing. You can also get magnetic dust mesh that is ment for just a fan. Keep the cooler nice and clean. I have pets so I always think in Dog hair.

To be completely fair, I run 32GB myself and while I haven't had any gaming issues with it, literally I have seen things like chrome just... destroy that amount of ram. So if he games but also multi tasks with some alt+tab action into other stuff, it's definitely nice to have more than just the 16gb you typically need.

I run ~6000 mods/assets in Cities Skylines and the system will crash if I run it with one of my 2x16 modules removed

@@NintyPrime were you just playing around with chrome tabs or something? cause that amount of chrome tabs is ridiculous if you need that much ram to run them. Ive never maxed out my 16gb ram, ive had games + chrome + discord + spotify and no issues, i even tab out all the time and theres no problem with it

You replaced 'Hardline 2' with this small build. You know what absolutely would look sick? Hardline powercables!! Chromed and blackened. 2 or 3 days of work, planning, measuring, bending. Then sending them out to be chromed and blackened. Hoping they won't be bend. I did one back in the end of the 90's. A lot of work, but so, sooo cool.

I don't usually comment on sponsors, but PIA is by far the best VPN on the market. I have been using if for about 6 years. After two or three years of minimal sized unventilated high end hot box builds that end up hot loud and crippled I have to ask - why not focus on airflow instead of minimalism especially when you KNOW there is no way a shoe box full of hot running components is practical and will not cool well or make you happy regardless of how much you spent - BUT THIS PARTS HANGER definitely has that crazy fresh air flow im looking for-! LOL

Highly recommend getting a JIS screwdriver. (IIRC its Japanese industrial standard) every time you get a Philips that doesn't quite fit right, its JIS

The short cable reduces the max fan speed if that matters. I don't think it's just a short extension cable. Also not sure if it is four pin or not for PWM.

I think that short fan cable is a low noise adapter, so the fan is not going to run as fast as it otherwise would.

On my Corsair HX1200, IIRC, the sticker would be the correct orientation whether I have the fan on top or bottom, so the one not seen is always upside-down of course. I would expect it to be like that on all their power supplies. Edit: I see now that the other side of the PSU isn't like that at all.

I can't find anything on the YuleBeast site, but the construction implies that you are entirely reliant on M.2 drives for built-in storage? No place to slap on a SSD?

Correct, most people "mount" with double sided tape or cable ties, I've seen one person lay it flat along the bottom of the case, not my preference but it's an option.

Card like the 3060ti really shouldn't need much ventilation on the backplate. With something like a 3080/ti/3090 i get it though.

I wonder if this "case" could have a mount on top for a radiator, so the radiator is laying down with the long side along the motherboard so you could use maybe up to a 360 radiator on it.

I literally use two of those same desks (off amazon) side by side for my set on RU-vid. They are definitely a smidge flimsy, but they would have held hotline miami 2 just fine, I do PC builds and other stuff on them a lot. But, That was definitely a MASSIVE computer before, which is pretty indicitive I think of most setups that put their PC on the desk. My personal desk for editing is massive, and with the PC on it it STILL just... makes it look small. Still, when the PC itself is literal art, who cares. :)

The EVGA 3060ti you used has a part flow through design. You blocked it off with that custom backplate. Not sure if you're aware of if I was Intentional.
