That's how this works, you make it sounds like they are hording cards and actually damaging the market or something when it's literally their livelihood, yes they have a direct line but the amount of cards all tech RU-vidrs have combine is probably less than a single shipping container compared to the thousands scalpers have grab, heck recently i read an article of how a single scalper had moved over 10,000 cards from his own home

No. They pay for these cards with their time and work. They’ve built themselves up to the point where they’re sent these cards for review/advertisement by the companies, and that’s for a reason. You say it’s getting old and frustrating, but I’m sure these you tubers are frustrated that all of these grown men are crying that they’re the problem when in reality there’s a global shortage of silicon affecting every single market. Had parts waiting months just for another as i was saving up but as soon as i saw those stack of boxes stack up, i was so motivated. You got this man, dont let it get you down. Start small

You could round up all the techtubers' gpus and sell them at MSRP. And they would be gone in milliseconds and then you would just go and find something else to rant about that isn't the real problem.

only thing I could get for my lil b450 mobo and 3200 mhz pc was a scrappy 1660 tuf for 410 dollars 2 months ago!only thing I can afford to upgrade is the psu, from 700 to 850watts I guess and additional 16gb 3200mhz ram for 128 dollars!

@@bernhardtsen74 I was lucky enough to afford a decent rig before the pandemic and shortage happened, and even now, as a marriage gift to myself I was able to get a r7 5800x easy but I feel bad for anyone who sold their gpu. 2000 series especually because oh my God is this ridiculous and people are scum.

Even if he's getting tons of free shit now, he sure the hell wasn't when he started. Shit's a fucking struggle but you do it because you love it, and you'd have done half those projects anyway for yourself with no return whatsoever, just because it makes you happy. Kyle can't control the GPU supply, and he's gotta make a living somehow since this is his only job and he's single (rip btw, hugs for you if you're ever up in the bay Kyle).

another reason to start a pc building company: you can build stuff for fun! add that to being paid for pc builds and being the ceo of a company and being able to be a pc building channel on youtube!
