Information, more for Tuono owners who want to change the standard passenger seat tail to the RSV4 sexy tail. This upload may not interest some subscribers so do not watch this if easily bored!!
Roadcraft Nottingham is a UK motorcycle school which was established in March 1989.

Unbelievable! I actually own this very bike that's in the video. Still has the conversion kit fitted plus a few more tasty upgrades.

Yes it's from the RSV4. I think the tail is so beautiful I couldn't resist either (a lot of other owners are doing it too, well worth the money and effort) All my friends have said it looks even better in real life than the photos.

Great video. Word of warning , careful if you ride with a back pack on. Even with the pinion seat on a couple of loose six inch straps that hang off your pack will beat the hell out of those rear sides an scratch like rough sandpaper . It happened to my RSV4 R . Would hated to have to repaint again. Great videos as always. Cheers.

Great video. Just doing the same conversion on my tuono and realised the bracket under the seat lock can be bent to fit the new panels rather than having to buy a new one.

I've known a guy at Dream Machine in Notts for the last 20 years and he's never done a bad paint job for me, it's nice to be able to trust someone that much.

I was in the same boat but I have just put a deposit down on a Tuono. It came down to one question. "Do you want to win a super-stock championship, or smile from ear to ear where ever you please?" Unless you can use all that power of the s1000rr REGULARLY and are comfortable enough to actually want to do a good days riding on it then you may want to consider the BMW. So basically unless you have a race track in your back yard and you can afford both, go with the Tuono!

Nice looking bike. You will love the new color, it is much easier to keep clean than the black. More time riding, less time cleaning. I like that!!

I stripped and rebuilt it myself but the paintwork was Dream Machine in Long Eaton, Derbys. Amazing job too, like glass.

I saw a pic of a forum member's Tuono in white and loved it. It was missing the RSV4 tail so I thought sod it, let's do it. Looks MUCH better in the flesh. Gonna get some more piccies from my Nikon D80 this time, see if I can do it justice.

Thanks, it was Hudik's Tuono that inspired me but I wanted the RSV4 tail on too. He also has an RSV4 in white.

It definately looked good in black too, doing it white has emphasised parts I didn't notice as much before like the air intakes and back of the tank under the seat.

One of my favourite bikes..not so easy to get a testride on one in ireland as there are no official dealerships..probably the reason i dont own one.i have an idea if i did i would have to have one........i really like the colour and especially the rsv tail is savage...great job mate.

Two weeks ago i replaced the piston on the rear cylinder on a '03 baby varadero,the passage of time has not been kind to this particular commuter and it turned into an epic struggle on a patio dodging cloudbursts.

I like to be different and was inspired by a forum member in Europe who painted his Tuono white to match his RSV4. I added the tail piece though and kept the red rim tape instead of going to white, I think it would have been a bit too much white then. .

Yeah it really looks great IRL, i live close to "Smackmanii" so ive seen his conversion a few times now, I like the white but it´s not too bad in black either. Trackday coming up next thursday for us here too, hope to see many v4´s :D

Hi mate AVC sent me over here to look for an action camera code, but putting that to one side, your Tuono is pure sex, I am a big lover of white bikes, and what you have done to this with the mods borders on perfection. It´s from a rsv4000? ;) Great video and looking nice.. Is the front part of the gas tank black on the rsv4r? I hated the looks of the stock tuono when i bought it, but after i had it for a few weeks I realized its pretty uniqe and special, so i like it more and more. But the rsv4 tail is so nice, hard to resist to do a conversion.

I wanted to change my rear to the rsv4 but was told it was a lot more complicated so i didnt bother so thanks again for uploading the video. Where did you buy all the parts from and costings if you dont mind me asking.

I doubt it. The RSV4 rear end is the same as the Tuono V4 so it was easy to do.

Hi Chris, my bike is now town friendly, have you disconnected your exhaust valve cables yet? Also, I don't have details on removing the nose fairing but it's a total pain! There are a lot of little plastic fasteners
