The budget will be better next month, because you invested this month. Also: you saved a lot and you are usually well in the budget. When not, there are good reasons. The month is always done and so you will not need to shop next week, but licve out of your garden, mostly. You've got this, if anyone does. Be proud, of what you achieved!!! Not, that I mean, that you are ashamed, just, that you can be really proud!!❤
I saved on groceries so much the last 2 weeks from watching your videos (we have different Aldi ads but the same kroger ad) that I was able to stock up enough to not need to buy groceries next month. That helped me be able to buy a new to us fridge! Our old one was dying and very small. As a single dad, being able to buy an “adult” fridge is a huge deal. It’s a 2 door fridge and it has water in the door! I don’t have to buy bottled water anymore! Our city water needs to be filtered
You are the best Mom and Wife EVER Janice. I live alone but I enjoy your grocery haul videos. I love ALL your videos. May God bless you Janice and all your family. Love to you from B.C. Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️🙏🏻
We CAN hear you Janice in the summer Kitchen with the air on. No worries on going over on the budget, you are saving so much money that going over once in a while is OKAY!!
I really love and appreciate your videos. I struggle with materialism and can easily be influenced by other people's lives. I am often not as budget minded as I should. You are an excellent example!!!! Your videos motivate me to shop wisely. Thank you for the work you put into these videos.
Luv Rebecca....she keeps it real and why we do what we do as Mother's/Grandmother's....save and coupon to get a deal to feed our families. Thank you for your content....From Ottawa, Ontario

Sounds So 🤤😋 Yummy 🤨💭 Thank You for Sharing this recipe with Us 🤩🥰 Sara could make it n Make it 🤗with ease 😉 I'm Sure 😊 n I'm sharing with My Daughter who's expecting in November 🤤❣️
Hope u don’t think I’m crazy but had to tell my savings in Walmart (I couldn’t believe it). I usually buy Aldi’s brand of of cheese in the 2lb box for $5 lb. Walmart had Velveta for $5 a 2lb box. Usually sells for $7.48 a box! I bought 10.. if I had usually bought Velveeta I would save $24.80! Which I loved! But my other deal wasn’t edible. My husband needed new underwear. End cap there I found some for $2.00 a pkg. oh my gosh! I bought every pkg that was in his size! (5). They were regularly priced at $15.97 per pkg. ! 50 pairs of underwear for $10❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I don’t he will need ay for a very long time! Thank you for all your wonderful family has done to educate me on saving. Have a great weekend
The first thing that I thought of is opening a “shopping” bank account and depositing surplus $$ when you don’t spend everything in that account, so you can cover for when you overspend. But, I do understand you use the money when you are under budget on other things, which makes sense. Have a great Labor Day!
Hi Janice, You do so well with the savings for your whole family! Sometimes a few "oops" are bound to happen, especially when you're shopping with children! Everything will even itself out in the long run, I'm sure! I got the plums at Aldi and made 5 jars of jam! I rarely buy store jams, my mom and grand mom (back in France) always made jam in the summer. I was basically raised on that, for breakfast. I also, thanks to you, no longer buy bread: I make my own with your French bread recipe! My husband, son and I love that bread! Thank you for helping everyone: your videos are always precious to watch and to listen to. I am grateful for you and your family; you bring joy and peace to my day.
GREAT DEALS!! Whoo Hoo.... I always LOVE seeing your hauls. Awwww..... Seeing Rebecca just melts my heart. SO sweet.. She has the prettiest little face, darling smile and SO much personality. Just dorable! Blessings and love...
I love your videos! I lost my husband in July and my budget is crazy small now. Lessons I'm learning from you and your videos is helping me restructure my budget. Your family and videos are inspiring to me. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with all of us.
Condolences on this huge loss in your life Laura. Lost my husband of 38 years in 2015 it's a huge adjustment especially in the beginning when your whole financial picture changes and you've lost that other income. Just take it one step at a time and don't put undue stress on yourself, you WILL get it all sorted out and now is the time to ask for help especially from family/close friends when it all seems to be getting overwhelming. And I don't know if you have a faith background because I found that my prayer life helped me immeasurably as well. I will remember you in my prayers tonight and ask the good Lord to walk with you during this huge adjustment in your life.❤🙏
Janice , thank you for helping others. I have tried to help so many people with this same type of info. So many just say , I don’t make enough money, when in fact they can’t and don’t budget for great prices ❤
Hillshire Farm smoked sausage is fully cooked and vacuum sealed; therefore, if frozen, it will taste the same even 2 months after exp. date AND will still be safe to eat for 6 months after that!
I never looked at the markdown area before learning about the savings from your videos! Today I explored the carts and discovered a treasure trove. Apples (assorted varieties) were .49 cents a pound, zucchini also .49 cents a pound. Meat markdown-- Perdue chicken was .75 cents a pound. I know you are not pork people but pork loin $1.39 a pound. Thank you for encouraging me to explore markdowns! Social security check goes much farther now. Please, tell Sarah I continue to bake bread and rolls. Neighbors are wild for the aroma of baking loaves. Take care and have a great weekend
I have been buying markdown meat and other markdown and clearance items for many years. Every store I enter I look for mark downs. I even do this with pet food
You could skip sale items next week, since you’re stocked up. But I wouldn’t worry about the budget too much. You save a lot of money. So many people are having to increase their budget. So you do a great job! You’re a smart lady!!! I really enjoy you and the family!
L❤VED THE VIDE❤. Janice, since David is great with building with cardboard, I would like to see him use the cereals to decorate something. I would do a house or cabin, but I would be interested to see what he designs.
Im sure Janice does fantastic with the budget she allows herself. And she does great i couldn't manage ìt. And if she's blown her budget im sure she's got enough in her stock to keep going. I love the way she always makes sure her family has plenty of fruit so good for Janice but that's her thinking of the family as usual good for a good mum.
Great job! You are smart to stock up on the sales and clearance items. 💲. I'm curious-why do you feel the need to stock up in light of an upcoming election?
I know you hate the new format of the Kroger ad but at least you get one. Starting next week our local Albertson's, called United, is doing away with paper ads. Only online ads which are much more trouble to plan from.
You were able to stockpile for the future. Your purchases were such wonderful deals. With the amount you saved this month based on Walmart prices, shows how great your budgeting helps your family, and your viewers, save a ton of money. Your family eats so healthy. A little candy as a treat is a perfect way to keep little people happy. Our Albertsons had the same hamburger that showed for $2.99/lb. on sale for $6.99/lb. Buying some of the t-shirts at 10-BOX was a great price even if they are used to sleep in.
Lärabar- Lära is a swedish word for - to learn or to teach like learn. I thought is was funny for an american company using a swedish letter like Ä ... :D It is really funny to see all the american products. Some are the same as here but there are many products I wish we would have in our stores. We have letters like ÄÅÖ that does not exist in the english alphabet..
You save so much money by shopping the lost leaders and saving where you can. Don’t worry about going over well on month. It’s no big deal you’ve earned it.
Janice, what a great job you’ve done even if your over budget!! I would have done the same thing. Your savings are amazing!! I’m wondering if the summer kitchen is done and I missed a video of you sharing your finished project?? 💕🙏🙏
I had planned on getting the watermelons and peaches but now I'm going to be looking for those reduced Lara bars! I hope they still have some left Sunday. Thanks for sharing! God bless 😊
I just got those Nature Valley Bars for 99 cents a box at our grocery outlet. It has the best prices for granols bars!!! We are blessed to have one in our area.
Great deals . We do have Aldi here but different items in the store. I spy with my little eyes a box that says Harvest Right . Happy you got a Freeze Dryer . Love these videos . God bless you and your family
I think stocking up pre-Election is smart! I should be good on household products through the end of the year. Do what you can and follow His peace! He will take good care of His children!
In Illinois our Mariano's (aka Kroger) has 4X the fuel points every Friday and that same ad...watermelons are $2.88 and Nature Valley bars (listed as sale item in ad) are $1.99 a box. Odd how some prices are same state to state and others differ. Still...you did super great Janet!👏
I went over budget for the month too but mine ends at the end of the month. I got some good deals on $1.49 boneless skinless chicken breasts that I couldn’t pass up and ketchup at $1.49 a bottle. Sad to be over budget but I know it will save money in the long run. Great deals you got that will save for months to come.
Yes, I’m sure larabars are going to change. They got bought out by a chemical company. I can’t remember what company. I know about blown budgets. It happens.
I always check the markdown sections and when they have a dollar off each up to 5 or more deal you can get that extra savings. A while back I got 10 of the Nature Valley granola bars from the clearance aisle they were $1.35 with the dollar off five or more I got them for $0.35 I took them to the nursing home. I haven't seen much in the clearance aisle at my Kroger lately I live in Central Illinois
I wish I'd seen your video before I went to Krogers today I forgot the peaches.. sigh. I'll try to go back before the sale is over. Aldi's had them 95 cents a pound last week, I froze some and ate some this week. The Chicken was a great price and canning boneless chicken is so much easier than bone in at least for me since I cook mine first before canning it so I can take the bones out and pack more meat in the jars. I did buy gift cards so I got points for that. It was a short trip as I only went in for sugar free gelatin and jello box mixes and sugar free fudge pops. I am working on my Christmas shopping now instead of waiting last minute. Anna In Ohio
I’m sure baking from scratch actually saves money Just my son and I at home and I know we spend close what you spend for 9 Easy meals etc cost more for sure It’s the meat We buy the 93/7 which is what we’re used to on hamburger and I’ve paid close to $9 a pound but I’m not a fan of Walmart so I shop from a grocery store called Hy-very Just a better overall shopping experience so I pay a higher price for that alone 😂❤
We raise a crop of meat birds every year and have already harvested our chickens for this year. However, I can't pass up boneless skinless chicken breast for that sale price even if I already have a lot in stock! We do occasionally harvest some of our ducks and turkeys for meat, but they are primarily used for eggs. :)
I can hear you all fine love to you all which i could get the savings. But where i live in Scotland.the only shop I've heard of is aldi but you have to get the ferry across to the mainland and drive about half an hour to the big shops. Which we do when we start getting.,low on stuff but my husband is recovering from a triple heart bypass and i don't drive. So stuff likes that will have to wait. But i must admit i love watching your budget shopping, look after yourselves. Jean.
