AHHHHHH I am so excited to share this day with you all. Finally after choosing stallions over five years ago, and imagining what Ari would be like to ride I actually get to ride him.

They can be@@thesaddlelife3568 - and for that reason they do not always the best child's pony. Imho ~ a Dartmoor/Exmoor/Welsh Mountain/Welsh pony is a more sensible and safer option.

Becky did a great job! I start a lot of horses under saddle & they get programmed to the person who starts them . Everyone rides a little differently so it just takes time to mesh together ❤. As new as it is for you , it's the same for them. He has a longer stride which may feel slower but he's covering lots of ground. Very pretty mover! I'm so excited to see your future together!

I really enjoyed this! Many years ago, I worked at a showing yard and we had a youngster in for breaking, who was out of the owner’s hunter and by the yard’s stallion. The lovely lady owner was so excited; when she got off him the first time, she exclaimed; “It’s such a THRILL to ride a horse one has bred!” 😄

I have so many thoughts about this cute little guy! I can just image what his future will be like 😍 I can just see Ace telling Ari, "Take care of Meg for me, but make sure to buck her off a few times, just for luck." I love LOVE how full and long Ari's tail appears to be! It really makes him look like a big fancy warmblood, and Meg, you have such a gorgeous horse. His coloring is PERFECT. And on that note, you don't have to go out and by yourself a big fancy horse, you've got one right at home ❤

Ari looks great; my compliments to Becky! As green as he is, it's still easy to picture him really buckling down to work in the dressage phase. Ace is also looking great, and- unpopular opinion- I actually think his squealing is cute, lol. Compared to some of the mares I've known, he's very soft-spoken and polite!

Another fab one! First; LOVE an Ace nose close-up! He looks so well and happy! Becky is fantastic. Right from the mounting block and during the whole ride, she was incredibly impressive. (Thanks for going in the vlog, Becky!). Ari is outstanding. What a mover and he has so much happy confidence and presence! I think you two are going to go far and do well. For some reason, I'm sure that he's going to be a machine on cross! Also, if you're ever looking for content ideas, I'd be very interested in a trailer loading tips and tricks vlog.

We did loading practice with a horse once (was meant to leave 3 days later). Went in perfect. Would not go out. Tried gentle pushing, putting another horse on and off. Just ended up waiting in the trailer nearly 3 hours with her. She wasn't stressed. Nice and relaxed. Ended up taking her to her new home as didn't want to do something that might scare her. When we arrived we took out the partition, turned her around, and she walked out fine

Oh Meg!! I'm so pleased for you...he's beautiful. I did the same last year...rode my youngster for the first time ....he's been turned away after that and this year he's going to go off again to be started and schooled for me to ride him away..he will be 4. He's looking gorgeous under saddle already, he's going to be a hunk when he finishes growing and fully muscles up! I'd say you're off to a strong start with homebreds with him! And I fully understand the floaty gaits feeling slower. A gelding I rode if my mare was on break was like flying on a cloud regardless of gait. He'd be cantering his heart out and I'm just like "Are we still trotting, did he start cantering or just start trotting faster? What gait are we doing??"

omg that trot though... wow. and i normally wouldn't like coloured ponies but his markings are so cool. like his front legs being white all the way up looks really amazing. can't wait to see him progress with you :)
