Nottingham Goose Fair is officially Europe’s largest travelling fair, spreading over almost 20 acres and containing over 500 fair rides. The fair has over 700 years of history under its belt. The fair started out as a livestock trading event that allowed farmers to sell their goods. Since then, the fair has hosted oddity shows and performing fleas as it transitioned into the fair which is so popular today. With over 400,000 people visiting Nottingham during Goose Fair week, it's definitely worth checking out!

its ilkeston fair this week its the oldest street fair in the uk it takes over the town centre and streets its not like goose fair very unique worth taking a trip

@@KevinChapmanTravel as harsh as it may sound your target audience was that sort of content. Your engagement will drop off but you gotta look at the bigger picture. You enjoy making videos, and aslong as you're making what you enjoy the views will still come, just maybe not as many as they used to. I'm staying for the football manager and the occasional update as I spent years watching your channel, don't listen to the hate 💜

Looks like a lot of fun! There’s an annual event in Tennessee called the Strawberry Festival. Local performers usually come and sing at it and there’s food, games, and rides, crafts, etc.

Hull fair is Europes largest travelling funfair.look on Wikipedia for its history.rides from the goose fair come to Hull fair.

Different websites say one or the other is the biggest. And Hull fair starts before Goose Fair ends this year, so don’t think any rides will be at both.

Hull is one of three that can claim to be the biggest. But it depends on what metric you use to claim it. As both Newcastle Hoppings & Nottingham Goose can also claim it. Tho also NON of the UK fairs are as big as the ones in Germany and France.

@@KevinChapmanTravelthere are three machines that go to both Goose and Hull every year as they close on the Sunday at goose take down and travel to Hull and build back up ready for the Monday opening. Hull fair is closed on Sunday for this exact reason. Atmosfear being one of the biggest that do that every single year.

Some rides go from Nottingham goose fair and open at Hull fair for the 2nd half of it. When Nottingham finishes on Saturdays there travel to Hull and build up on the Sunday and open Monday. Nottingham is only one of the biggest but not the biggest. Newcastle hoppings and Hull fair alot larger.

Ever visited the North Yorkshire coast? Some great places to visit there from popular towns such as Whitby and Saltburn to beautiful small villages like staithes and robin hoods bay. You also get the politeness and hospitality of us yorkshire people on top of the beautiful locations

Hull is actually the largest travelling fair in europe ours is much bigger.

@@KevinChapmanTravel We had 80000 visitors to goose's 40000. I've been to both and Hull is certainly larger we had three massive wheels the other year. You should come try for yourself.

hull fair as the biggest ground it sits plus there's an awful lotta gaps dotted around , the goose fair as more rides etc plus a million people visit the fair within an hours drive plus as the best atmosphere according to the showmen and the showman guild @@karencallaway1332
