Unity is already working on similar text-to-models/scene tech, under their Unity Muse project. I don't think it'll help with the actual hard parts of game-dev, tho. Getting a bunch of assets & a skybox in a scene is already a drag&drop/menu operation. The hard part comes after. 😅

@@mandisaw this stuff isnt designed for devs, its there to impress investors, laymen, and children (hence the NFT angle). corporate game engines love adding bloat features noone cares about (bonus points if they ape an existing plugin and make it worse) instead of fixing boring, tedious bugs, bc New Feature looks good to the suits this venting also applies to adobe

@@ckorp666 To be fair, a significant chunk of the wanna-be dev market, especially in games, is genuinely interested in these "1-2-3-game!" sales pitches. It's the same as the "low-code" dream in enterprise. Again, I don't think it'll ever be what they hope for, but if the demand exists, someone's gonna try to sell the fantasy to them.
