2015 my team Flowers street play final against the Ghana town junior team in the Brufut primary school field and we won 1,0 the goal was score by me.... We train Ghana town and to be honest they are good people's 💯 %
Great story. No wonder Ghana is familiar with Gambia national anthem. They even sung along during the African games in Ghana. Gambians are nice people.
@@cookingwithsindaco Yeah I saw a shorts video of it and they singing along. I'm Ghanaian and I know that song too but didn't know it relates to Gambia anthem.
The Fante influence on the coast of West Africa and Angola is unmatched. Fantes are brave, daring and adventurous. We actually spread the fishing culture to many places with the best fishing practices creating economies in several West African nations.
@@Am_Manasa Remember, at that time Africa wasn't as populated as today. These guys have become part of Gambia's Economy. THEY STILL GO BACK HOME, BUT THEIR ALSO NEEDED HERE.
What impresses most about this old man is that fact that he still speaks the Fanti very fluently with no foreign accent to it. This is fantastic and a lesson to those of us in the diaspora.
My wife is from Ghana town. Everyone is friendly, approachable and easy going out there as the video proves and the beach is beautiful and it's simply the best place to live in the Gambia.
A special story near and dear to me. Thank you Sindaco for sharing. I'm a Gambian who lived in Brufut and attended Brufut Primary school up to Primary 3. One of my best friends Kofi lived in Ghana Town just a km or so from the school. He used to invite me to his home on some weekends and I would have him at ours on other weekends. We were very young then. I'm excited to hear that your guide has almost completed a book on the history of Ghana Town, is it possible to get his contact from you? I believe there's an opportunity to work with him because I'm an author myself, but a civil engineer. Haruna Darbo Thanks in advance.😊
I'm happy what you are doing ghanaians I never called him Guardians I always call him gambians they are born citizens of Gambia they have the right of the citizenship our great grandfather's give them land in Brooklyn later they call it Ghana town they are so lovely people and their hard workers thank you for the video keep what you are doing
Good stuff Bro. I know everywhere in Ghana town and that's where my family and I always bought our kenkey during my 3 years stay in Gambia as an expatriate.. I lived at Brufut Heights, TAF Estates opposite the then Sheraton Hotel. It is just a short distance from Ghana town.
My agriculture teacher from nusrat high school came from ghana town and we gambians have a big respect for our ghanaians in Gambia 🇬🇲 they are hard working nor joke one love Africa ❤
Wow wow beautiful ❤🎉so perfect 👍 this is my first time watching your channel keep it up 👍 good work done ✅ Ghanaians 🇬🇭 we are peaceful so lovely people
Even up till now, some of our fisherfolks still travel to Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Gambia, etc. Only that for Ivory Coast, most come back frequently, since it’s closer.
The people of that land are my ppl, my tribes people, they left ghana by ship to Europe and mistakenly landed on there many decades ago, they decided to make life there
Where about is this Ghana town? I didn’t hear of Ghana town when I used to visit the Gambia in the 90s. I used to lodge in a hotel in bskau cape something something. I used to visit serekunda, Banjul, faraja or so
Is there any way you can help me get in touch with Emmanuel? I taught him computer literacy. We were in touch but lost contact few years ago. Please 🙏🏾
Ghana must learn from this interview. The man said they can not grow cassava because the land has been used for building. How are they going to eat if all the lands are used for building.
You can also get from kumasi ahen boboano and that one is straight. And I know some of truck drivers I can give you their number but they move from mankesim and connect to kumasi any info write me

Bro am really enjoying your video and everything but I will edge you to stop talking into their answers when you question them ....allow them to talk and express them selves ... THANK YOU.
@@Inkatown-sixtheir former president jammeh ordered for 44 migrant Ghanaians and a few Nigerians, who were in Gambia en route to Senegal/Europe, to be killed, suspecting them to be spies
You should ask all of those Ghanaians living in Ghana town what are they doing there too,if they were not safe and living in peace you think they’ll still be there smh. do your research of how it happened before commenting ….do you think that president they said did it killed only Ghanaians.People will always find something negative about a positive thing smh
Why would the Ghana government take people to Ghana who aren’t born there, and they prefer the country of their birth better, the escort says some try to stay in Ghana but they eventually returned to Gambia
You people are big big lies. There has never been any GHANA TOWN before independance and immediately after independance until after 1973 when Seagull Fisheries was established.Stop distorting history othereise auhtorites will be force to intervine.. Renove this from RU-vid'S now How old are you people?
You can take a Ghanaian out of Ghana, but you can't take the lack of innovation, development, and fortitude out of them. In this day and age, you still build with roofing sheets. And as usual, you want government to come help
