I Visited The OLDEST ART STORE In The USA *woah* 

ooo those slow dying acrylics look like they’re right up my alley! 👀

Nobody should ever leave me unattended in that store..or any art store for the matter.

That is my local art store. They are so sweet and so supportive of local artists.

Chloe being embarrassed in public is probably the most relatable thing ever 😂😂😂 Also, I think that brush on the back of the eraser is so that you can brush the little rubber bits off when you erase something.

Hi Chloe, I'm located in Ontario and most art stores carry those Golden Open Slowdry Acrylics. I have a tube of diaoxazine purple. It's extremely slow drying on the palette, which is great, but it doesn't stay wet on the canvas for as long which is also nice. It's VERY pigmented and the colours are stunning.

This looks fun! The eraser brush is probably to get rid of the eraser dust without smearing the lead.

Would love to see the other art store in NY!

I wanna go to this store, it seems so put together! I love the “art market” thing, its a great way to get artists in the area out there. the owner seems so nice too. its amazing how long this store has existed. I wouldve never known about it if it wasnt for you chloe, this is gonna have to be a trip in the future✨

Ok only 3.5 minutes in but this is SO COOL!! I love that the owner not only let you film but even went on camera and talked. I love their artifacts! If I'm ever in that area I am 100% visiting ❤🧡💛 also I'd love to see the biggest art store!

Little Fun Fact that might Explain the Medicine Recipes: Artist and pharmacist used a lot of similar ingredients, so it was common that they had one store for both, medicin and paint :D Artists and medics were represented by the same guild and had to work under the same rules in the past.

imagine that being your local art store... as a history nerd and someone who dabbles in art I would simply pass away

If you do block printing, do yourself a favor and look into a bench hook. I've done it in Jr. High, High School and in college. They turned 13 year olds loose with it - using bench hooks. They let you carve by pushing into the soft linoleum to carve but keep your hands behind the sharp tools. It's a much safer way to go.

😂 I'm not sure I've ever heard Worchester described as "cute" before. ...at least you managed to avoid the heat wave. (And yes, I've used metal sheets/flakes before - most epically, to make a dining room table out of a bird fountain.)

I love CC Lowell! They are so helpful too. I took an art class for the first time and had no idea what I was doing, but they already knew the teacher and told me exactly what to get and even offered to pull everything for me before I came in.

I need to go to any artstore in the US, seeing this from Germany is a real woah.

They have a lot of, or did when I was there, beautiful handmade looking paper & so much other stuff. you would love artist & craftsman’s supply in cambridge, ma (right outside of boston) ! they have everything, like even candle making supplies and that posca set up. even sell escoda brushes. and right across the street is a blick (best chain art store imo).

This was awesome! The store is awesome! Unique products, unique displays, huge selection of products and arts, a subscription box, and a weekly sale for local artists! I also love the mural on the outside of the building, which was also probably done by a local artist. I don’t think that I’ll ever find myself near Worcester, Massachusetts, but if I do, I’d like to visit this store.

The brush of the eraser is most probably to brush of eraser remaining’s so you don’t smudge anything

Even though I currently live in North Carolina I’m about to go on my own road trip back to MA to visit family & friends for the first time since the Pandemic began. Places like this that are so personalized and creative will always be my favorite. Love this place and visiting if im ever in Massachusetts near Worcester. And plus Im a huge history person, love it so stuff like this is my fav. Love Victorian or Industrial history.

Proud of you for being courteous towards others! I'm fully vaccinated and wear a mask in public too because 1. It's polite around other people, 2. I have a family of currently unvaccinated people that I will go home to, and 3. My mom passed away last year from covid, so you really can't be too careful.

Thanks for showing us the store, love the historical cabinet. Love metal leaf, so easy to do for such a great effect. I stamped an image with metal leaf size and than used copper leaf to make an old style, book cover made of dark blue mat board that I cut from a Sizzix Eileen Hull die to make a great journal cover.

The Worcester Art Museum is a fantastic little place to visit! For a small museum, they have some excellent works, including an Andy Warhol and a nice collection of Impressionists. A definite must see!!

It has recipes for medicines because pharmacist were the go to for everything from paints to dental work to household cleaners to soft drinks to food. Worstershire sauce was created in a pharmacy to alleviate upset stomach. It was originally used as a spoonful at the end of the meal.
