I work at this location. It’s a great place to work if you like meeting people from all over the world. The one if Fairfield is twice as busy as we are and they have more stuff but the Eastgate location is definitely one to visit at least once.
I go to the original Fairfield,Ohio location its just as amazing as the new Cincy location. I enjoy trying different wild game...antelope,rattlesnake,buffalo,kangaroo. You name it they got it.
Thank you for filming this!! Everywhere we travel in our RV we look for great grocery stores! (We live in the food desert of Oklahoma-where we don’t have great grocery stores)! I will definitely put this on the list!!!😉
This is comment #2 from me: The Montgomery Inn sauce is very famous. Montgomery is a very wealthy Cincinnati city. (neighborhood) On the bottle, it says to serve it warm. My homemade copy of the sauce recipe (from 1990 or so) says to drizzle lemon juice on the meat before cooking. I have the rub recipe also, its online; easy to find. Its a wonderful, sweet sauce. Cincinnati’s Grippo’s BBQ chips bbq seasoning is a hot, delicious rub if you use it with Montgomery Inn sauce. Grippo’s is about 100 years old. Jungle Jim’s in Fairfield carries bottles of the rub in their potato chips section; $6.00/bottle. Lots more than that online.
WOW!! That would be something to check out. You picked up one of my favorite seasonings, Noh's Hawaiian Seasoning. Is need to set a limit on purchases visiting JJ's!
So glad you went to the bathroom, it's on lists of most unique bathrooms! Their motto should be: If you can't find it here...it doesn't exist🤷🏾♀️I've been dancing with the gorilla since I was little, now I take my kids!! Jim would be walking around the store talking to us kids, I had a teacher he had🥰 Being 10 minutes away, I take for granted the ability to find any type of food from anywhere! Graeters is Oprahs favorite! My great grandmother from Detroit always visited JJs when she came to town and she was minutes from Detroit's famous market.❤🙏🏾from OH....I..O😉
You can also get beer from the tasting bar and drink beer while you shop. They have a huge cigar and wine section and a liquor store and a out door cigar bar.
I hope you bought some of that Montgomery inn Barbeque sauce ..its Amazing from the Montgomery inn restaurant in Cincinnati..the story goes that Bob Hope use to have them fly their Ribs to HOLLYWOOD... he loved them so much..
Those are the old train cars from the Cincinnati zoo sitting on top of the entrance. He bought them years ago and was planning to build a whole train ride experience thru the store and parking lots at both locations
Thanks for the great show in Milford. I beat you there by about a half hour. I did find a bottle of the cholula chili garlic. I had to get it after having it on my street taco. 🙂
Wow this is amazing. I was in management of a 60,000 square foot superstore. Jungle Jim makes that look like the corner market! I have so many questions.
There is a store in the mall in Nashville that has nothing but hot sauces. And they have every one of them open for tasting. After about 45 minutes in there, our mouths were on fire.
So, which one did you like better? I always go to the original one. One day I will have to check out the other location. It's definitely an all day event.
I’ve seen frozen ground camel & frozen bear steaks in the “very” special frozen meat freezers. The camel was $59.00 lb. a couple of years ago. The bear steaks, I don’t know.
I went to the original. If you watch the video, you'll hear me say that I went the day before and bought a bunch of stuff. I was working near the original location the day before so I visited there as well!
Hi, Chris. I replied to the winners and they already received their shirts. It's been a while so I don't carry their names with me. I guess you could look through the comments to find the winners.
