I find I keep thinking about this hymn. I'm from the USA and we're going through a crises. Perhaps never in our history, even during our Civil War, have we ever hurled such vitriolic insults at each other. Just yesterday (our Monday) the President's lawyer advised the President's followers to stock up on 2nd amendment tools. (The 2nd Amendment to our Constitution is the right to bear arms/have firearms). Never before in our history has a spokesperson for the President called for Americans to prepare to kill each other. The thought occurred to me that there could be lyrics to this music that would speak of Christian forgiveness; of being brothers and sisters in Christ. This is a crazy idea - that such a version of the hymn might help unite my country. I have no musical talent (as all around me will testify).

Thank you for sharing your idea. I interest a lots for America politics, election of president and christians. I believe that The LORD is work for America and he love christians in America. I always to pray intercessory for in the World and especially pray for America. I suggest you to meet christian for prayer to safe America. Thank you from Australia

My mum passed away a few months ago, God rest her soul in peace🙏 A similar music was the Theme song at her funeral. It helps in bringing healing and tranquility🙏 I live in Africa, but this is relevant and it resonates.
