From your perspective your observations are correct but I beg to differ. Here are my points. Most of us have immigrated to America or foreign lands to seek opportunity. Basically human beings are naturally immigrants even from stone ages. Otherwise most of us will stay or live in our villages & towns. We immigrate to seek opportunities. We don’t necessarily have to return to Ghana simply because we are from the homeland. Each person has to create his/her own path. Personally l have lived in America for more than fifty plus years. I am retired now & enjoying the few years left. My kids & grandchildren live here. I am at age where medical facilities far exceed what Ghana offers. Also your statement about nursing homes is incorrect. My uncle who is 97 years old is in a nursing facility in the same city that I live in. He’s getting excellent care. I am sure if he were to live in Ghana, he would have joined his ancestors by now 😂 U will in due course make Ghana your vacation home rather than your permanent residence (trust me 😀). Make sure u enjoy life where u make your residence & take advantage of the opportunities what your “new” country offers. Why do u think a majority of the youth want to abandon Ghana & travel through treacherous journeys to foreign lands? They have seen there is no future. Sorry for my long essay.✌🏿❤️
Hand to mouth worker how will they get huge sum of money to travel abroad. I liked the place where you advised people to take care of their parents back home and also prophesied to yourself to get nkrataa in two years and it came to pass. Ghana ahokyere has made some people grow old with a lot of gray hair. Enye easy, I enjoyed the interview.
I love his idea of not living abroad at old age.. I came to the US 10 months now and all am focused on is the money. Even if i have my papers or not by 30yrs have to go back and live in ghana. Good idea
The reason why one will spend over US$30,000 to travel is that it is not everyone who is good in business, if you invest it in the bank to, it will get lost 😂 so why not use it to travel.
Eiiiiiiii but if you grow up in Ghana you cannot eat without remembering your parents, never, because some of us start to assist our parents with even little, little gifts we get from others. My brother God bless you, I really like all you've said.
We always copy the wrong and adopt the bad ones. I saw one interview where by the guy said even if his mother will sleep in a gutter he doesn't care and it is her responsibilty to care of herself. We Blacks deal with extended family system not like them so why would you compare their ways of life to us. We build ourselves or are empowered to help other siblings that's why a father can sell family property to push the child to go up in life in other to come give a helping hand to his brethren and you want to tell me is wrong to help your family. Those with such mentality should change. Do your best but don't kill yourself.
