I WAITED 2 HOURS FOR THE BEST BREAKFAST IN TAIWAN - Fu Hang Dou Jiang - Michelin Restaurant 

Watching this while eating my favorite Chinese food. Hot and sour soup and fried wontons. So satisfying on a chilly night on the east coast.

I love how she pronounces the name. I wonder what languages she speaks other than English, simply because I see her always traveling and I want to also. Keep doing ya thang girl👍🎉

I feel like a previous trip to Taiwan you had a very similar experience at another similar michelin starred breakfast spot. Good food but kinda dry. It should be amaaaaaaaaaazing! Thanks for taking us along.

From my last experience, just don't go too early, after 10am, there will be just like around 15 minutes wait.

This place is super good! I went in 2018 and the line was still long back then but not 2 hours. It was 45 minutes but I got there before it opened 😹

I only wait in line that long if the restaurant has some unusual dish (that you cannot find elsewhere). Overall, food look great, probably taste very good, but they seem to be very common dishes.

It's not worth the wait, trust me. You can get similar stuff everywhere in Taiwan.

Food looked good. If they served that exact same food in US, you can be sure it would be like quadruple the price or more. US charges a lot for food but in Taiwan, that may be considered expensive in their currency. How to blow an egg. lol

No food is worth waiting for in a line that long.

Michelin Guide Stars mean little these days are they are thousands of them today. So being rated one Star doesn’t mean much these days. When it really means something, then you are talking 3 stars. France has the most, then Japan. If that’s the number one rated breakfast joint in Taiwan, then my cereal should be Michelin rated too. Obviously I can’t tell how I would’ve liked that food, but will have to agree with Raina that her 7 rating is not worth the wait. The breakfast food looked bland to me. Too much of the same fried stuff too. I’ve been to Japan but not Taiwan. I’d love to go. If I ever go to Taiwan, I won’t be stopping and standing on line for that place. So many other better choices out there. Thanks for your honesty, Raina.

I stopped by Tauyuan airport uncountable times, but never got into Taiwan. I wish I will visit there in the near future.
