I already like walking, so to get back in shape this Spring and prepare for a special adventure this summer, I've decided to walk 5k, everyday, for a week to see how it goes. It was harder than I expected, but that's mostly my fault.

I read that one thing that centurions all have in common is not only that they walk every day, but that most of them live in hilly areas where walking is a bit more challenging. Great video Rick! Loved it. You should have mentioned that you used to be a hiking guide in the alps. ❤

Oh I've got this aw'ight. I think I was lacking sleep that week but regardless, I got plenty of time to get in shape. Keep an eye out for the backpack packing video it's pretty much just for you.

That scenery is amazing. I think I could walk it several miles each day, just to look at how beautiful it is. Good luck to you! You're doing great climbing those steep mountains. I think I'd need a ski lift for that part, then I'd walk back down with you. Lol

Hah that's funny. It's counter intuitive but when I was trekking alot I would hike up and take the chairlift DOWN any chance I got. Somehow the descent takes more out of me and beats on my knees...
