Hi Chris, been following you occasionally but consistently since your viral video. I always found your determination fascinating! Another small question: How did you handle sweating? Personally I love walking to my train station (about 4.5km) but sweat was always the one thing that can make it unpleasant. If you walk 20-30km a day, this seems like a daunting problem. Do you get so used to it that you don't care with time? How much did you care about special clothing? Did you use chemical agents like anti-perspirants? And how often did you try to clean yourself?
Hey, Chris! I had another question maybe you could consider for a video. Any advice for making friends on the road? My friend I met when traveling were so important to my experiences, but I wasn't always as successful as I wanted to be in finding them, especially when there were issues like language barriers
Wow can't believe Turkmenistan was the most expensive too and the fact the walk from China to Germany was more than 2-3 years and it turned out to be almost a 20 year trip
I don't think that was the motivation of the trip nor that it would meet the requirements: As Chris said earlier once, there was probably someone who walked a longer distance than him. The ongoing story he told over the years is unique, marvellous and precious, and I don't think there is anything like a record entry in the name of some beer company that could do that justice :)
Some questions for consideration - In The Longest Way video who was ZhongYan ? Are you still in touch with her after all these years ? And what happened to Teacher Xie ? Is he still walking ?
