I love that they always start off with a normal relatable premise like "going to a place you didn't expect to be so expensive" and then suddenly it just derails and becomes batshit insane
But PROTO! Eh...I got nothing this time. Pizza's my favorite food, if some location like a spa or restaurant was charging $100+ for Pizza without GOOD reason; for example, if it were jumbo for no good reason and was $100+, sure! Maybe. But a medium at Domino's for $100+ because the crust is stuffed? I cannot ensure the safety of that establishment after I leave.
There is one thing that makes me very reluctant to watch many videos though, quality wise: The sound. Whenever he screams, it sounds extremely awful to the point it feels uncomfortable hearing. Otherwise the content is pretty nice, the only thing i find bothering is the sound
and we can't do a thing about it, went with my gf to a local resturant to eat something fancy for a change and by the time we were done they ended up charging us six times the normal price just because it was valentines day.

I’m not sure I’ve ever been to a decent restaurant where ACTUAL appetizers other than fries and little shit are less than 8 bucks. And I’ve worked in some of the nicest restaurants in my city.
I once was visiting Japan and after a whole day of travel arrived at my Hotel starving. So me and my dad went into the hotel's restaurant. The guy asked if we had a reservation even though the place was empty. This should have been our clue something was up. We sat down expecting it to be a little pricey, but we were very hungry. They give us the menu and there isn't anything to eat under $90 USD. We apparently had walked into a VERY fancy japanese restaurant meant for traveling business people. Not sure what to do since the servers were already giving us top notch service, we each ordered overpriced sparkling water and left. It was so awkward.
There’s a pizzeria called Paisano’s. The one I usually go to has reasonable prices. I went to a different location not knowing that all Paisano’s aren’t the same. I noticed after being seated that they had fine dinnerware sets. They gave me my water and complimentary bread before I looked at the prices. Their appetizers were around $50. I *IMMEDIATELY* pretended my phone rang and told my server that I had an emergency and couldn’t stay. I got the HELL out of there!!! I’m glad I didn’t touch the water or bread😂😂😂
@@ShardtheWolf also by doing this consistent style of recording it keeps each skit more dramatic and believable. His skits where he play multiple characters are done this way and you forget that he's the same person in each skit, so this skit feels natural.
@@ingrid9635 I'm in Canada, ON and it's required here. It's not something they tell you though, it's something I figured out on my own. Lol I usually ask for a cup of water whenever I get a sub from subway or whenever I go to pretty much any restaurant. The reason why is due to the chance the person might be dehydrated or something.
